We all love our villa with private pool! Everything was exceptional starting from the staff, the nature and the Villa itself! The location is a bit far if you consider day trips to Labuan bajo and day trips to Komodo Island but totally worth it! Amazing stay and fantastic experience. What an absolute delight it was to stay at room Kalimatan. The house is owned by Laurent- the property is newly built, finished to an excellent standard and interesting design that creates a great space that fully integrates with the countryside. All this within easy reach of the more busy and touristic town of Labuan Bajo. We chose to stay here after a 1,200 KM trip around the island and before heading back to Labuan Bajo and we are so pleased that we did. There is a true saying in Flores and that is that guests are welcomed with open arms and treated like the people’s family. That’s a true description of the hospitality that we received, that went well beyond our expectations. Our room was spacious and the view from the terrace was spectacular particularly at sunset. The bed was so comfortable, we slept with the doors open, there was no need for the mosquito net provided and we enjoyed the gentle breeze and fresh air. The property is rural and consequently there is limited choice of restaurants within easy reach, but this is not by any means a problem. On our first nights stay Laurent cooked us a delicious pasta meal and on the second night we were treated to a BBQ of fish and rice cooked and prepared by Damas. Furthermore Damas welcomed us to a special night of local music played with his hand made guitar which is a night we will long remember.

This is a once in a lifetime type of accomodation. The house is a real piece of art, open to the jungle. Everything is made and designed in very good taste, yet combained with pure nature. The house is very charming and romantic and the views are crazy. We were there for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon and had the best time. Yet, it is important to keep in mind that the house is not vey private because the way it is designed, but it is part of the magic. Take at least 3-4 nights for your stay here. There is a lot to see and to experience. Laurent is a very cool guy and a great host. Thank you!

The house and its surroundings ware absolutely magnificent. Great bed, and a view to die for. Jungle vibes all around. Very clean, very comfortable and spaceous. The swiming pool is picture perfect, albeit not very big. Great knowledgeable host who is very friendly and helpful. You can have excellent freshly cooked breakfast and dinner in the house, prepared by wonderful Femi. We had an amzing time and couldn't stop taking pictures and video's of the house and the view :-) Too bad we stayed only 2 nights.

It was so special because of the paintings all around! Only can recommend. It takes about 15 mins to get to Labuan Bajo on bike what you can rent from the owner. To get there only cost 50k with local taxi. It’s easy to visit waterfalls from here. We also had a chance to have a painting session with Matheus. Ask for it if you feel creative :)

the boss is accommodating and friendly. the place is very simple but really very clean. even the boss and staffs were walking barefoot in the homestay. I felt embarrassed when we walk with shoes in the area, like making the place dirty. This homestay provides free shuttle service from the airport to the homestay and certain timing (the boss will charge a small fee if you need transportation assistance). We super recommend this place!!!

We loved the loft, spacious and comfortable space. The pool is so relaxing. We liked that it was away feom the busy noisy center and easy access with our scooter. The food was lovely. The service was amazing.
