A very nice hotel indeed. We were greeted very nicely the first day we arrived and while we were sorting out the paperwork for our room, we were served a traditional welcome drink. The rooms are very nice and have air conditioning and a fan, and all the other little things (shampoos, hairdryer, toothbrushes, etc.) are in the room. The restaurant next to the hotel has divinely good food and drink and is very reasonably priced. For 25€ we got 3 cocktails, each our own soup and main course. The employees are VERY friendly, they always cleaned the room very well. A perfect break in nature, as the hotel was very calm and the room had a beautiful view of the jungle, and even though the hotel was in the middle of the jungle, there were no animals in the room except an ant, which was our mistake because we left the chocolate open 🙃. We had a rented scooter and we could go to various activities from there.

Nothing short of spectacular! One of the most unique places on earth to spend an evening. We had a fabulous time. The occasion was our 10th anniversary, thank you Susi and all the team for making it a special time. We travelled North and around the coast via Lovina to spend the evening here. We would recommend other visitors do this if you are centrally located as we found the drive a bit more comfortable and accessible. We have taken southern roads before and the travel time is longer in our opinion. There is a narrow private access road into Buhan which is charming and the facilities are very private and secluded. We loved this. On site the surroundings are stunning and this is a gross understatement. The vibe comes with a true Balinese cultural service experience we cannot praise all the staff enough. What we would typically expect from a hotel lobby, reception experience is something entirely different here. It redefines this experience for a guest. You have to go there to experience it first hand. There is no obvious defined lobby or reception as such the whole experience is tour in stages and makes for a very warm hospitable experience. The accommodation is nothing short of dream worthy. Photos do not it justice no matter how impressive the photography. Be prepparred for a complete outdoor experience in complete privacy. The Treetop construction is both fascinating and uplifting to experience. The private pool and adjacent resting cabano areas are perfect for chilling out and lazing around. In the evening we sat by the fire pit and the guest team prepparred all the bamboo screening and internal nets (for those scared of the local wildlife). In that respect, despite the obvious outdoor venue there is very little of this for anyone with any concerns. We were also extremely impressed with the level of overall material finish, like the sanitaryware, showers, bath etc. Whilst this is undoubtedly a luxury experience nothing has been short cut.

As soon as you get to Pramana Giri Kusuma, you feel a sense of relaxation, amongst the beautiful surrounding nature. We loved our hut, which was clean, private and with all amenities you would need. Especially liked the semi outdoor bathroom which was enchanting! The pool area was beautiful, well maintained. Breakfast was wonderful and large portions! The staff went above and beyond in their service - highest quality and attentiveness we’ve experienced anywhere! Will love to return in the future.

The food at the restaurant was always very good and done as per request. The landscaping at the resort was exceptional and was a pleasure to move around the resort or just sit and admire. The spa treatment was also good

Payangan is about 20 - 30 minutes out of Ubud, depending on...

Payangan is about 20 - 30 minutes out of Ubud, depending on traffic. It is an excellent introduction to Balinese village life and the 'real' Bali. There are no facilities except some basic little general stores, and no ATM in the village. Outside of the hotels, there are no restaurants. It's a 'get away from it all' destination.

+ - Beautiful place - Amazing surroundings. - Friendly staff - Good food - Spacious rooms - - Little flaws in the room (airco and fan not working properly) - Little bit overpriced (laundry service, taxi service) - Staff should put out cushions by the pool when pool opens (we had to ask after being there for 2 hours) - The charge of 10% service fee on everything really bothered us.

The area is spectacularly beautiful however it cops a lot of rain and there can be land slides which cut road access. Our hotel (Adiwana Dara Ayu Villas) was a long way from other properties, so eating options (hotels, restaurants, local warungs) were non existent and sadly as the food in our hotel was abysmal (even the Indonesian was done badly) we skipped eating meals which diminished the pleasure of the holiday.

Very stylish accommodation in riverside forest, makes for a relaxing stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, who arranged airport pickup and transport whenever we needed it and a tour to north Bali. Good food at the restaurant and a great place to enjoy the spa and relaxing massage away from busy Ubud, in a nice quiet village. Free afternoon tea is a pleasant bonus with lovely coconut cake treats.

Beautiful resort with spectacular views and authentic Balinese architecture. Service was superb and the food even better. Although it’s a bit more remote, we didn’t need anything that the hotel didn’t cater for. If you’re after tranquility to recharge your batteries, this is the place for you. We cannot wait to return.

it’s a small gem in a perfect location so comfortable and the view is amazing the stuff was awesome bed was amazing and the view so beautiful!! if you are traveling around Bali or you want to get away from the crowds that’s a perfect spot you can walk around the area for hours it’s so beautiful

Everything in this villa was perfect, the house was clean, the views were amazing. Robi- the cook made us an amazing floating breakfast in the morning, Tari was superkind with us and the Balinesse massage in the evening was great.
