We really enjoyed our bamboo bungalow during our stay here. The morning views and sunrise were absolutely breathtaking and we saw it every morning. We also felt at home from the minute we arrived. The people there are super friendly and listen to all your questions and needs. You can do many activities in the area with aranka or rent bikes or scooters and ride around on your own. We appreciated the daily fruits, snacks and teas which are provided a lot and are thankful that we got to know new dishes and specialities. We also got a little chess lesson from Gilang and Azmi, who were also super friendly and chilled. The next tournament is still to come ;-) We were able to have super open conversations with all of them and learn a lot about the culture and life on Lombok. Also they try to connect themselves and other guests with each other with hosting a fire and playing the guitar for example. We would come back every time!

I had a wonderful stay at Bamboo Craft Homestay! Raja is a very welcoming host who truly enjoys sharing his knowledge of the area — he took me to visit some beautiful local spots and traditional craft workshops. We also cooked a traditional meal together, which was a really nice experience. The accommodation is charming and comfortable, nestled among rice fields and native plants, offering a peaceful and authentic atmosphere. I also highly recommend stopping by to try the food — it’s delicious!

Go here! The family is so welcoming and you will have a wonderful stay there. You can enjoy "the real lombok" here. We Stayed 2 nights at The Alam Tetebatu Bungalow and Restaurant, as the first guests. The whole experience was great. Very clean, tidy property, comfortable bed, modern bathroom , attention to every detail. Great view from room, actually from bed, right in the middle of nature, amazing food, for a very good price. Breakfast included with great view from the terrace. It truly felt like a homestay as we could spend time talking, cooking with the lovely owners: Arif and Fuji. They helped in every way to make our stay the best. We even had a guided walk around the ricefields and waterfall, saw black monkeys in their natural habitat. Would 100% recommend it.

Absolutely beautiful hotel! So peaceful in the heart of the rice paddies but still with the village around you. The owners and staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The food was amazing! They run a great day tour of the local area. We had Jan as our guide who was fantastic and the owners dog Minnie was with us the whole way, keeping guard as we swam in the waterfall. It was a highlight of our trip!

Lombok Hidden Village is a truly lovely place run by wonderful people. Great clean rooms, amazing pool and restaurant area. We had an amazing few days with lovely tours of the Monkey forest, rice fields, waterfalls and local villages. If you’re into cooking go for their cooking class, a great way to learn Indonesian food. Special thanks to Toni for being n excellent guide and Udi for being a great host.

This was the most amazing homestay. Located in the most beautiful area amongst rice fields and with a beautiful view of Rinjani. Not to mention, the staff were so friendly and the food here was amazing! If you’re looking for a quiet little getaway at a local homestay, this is the place! Couldn’t recommend enough!
