The rooms are basic but clean. Mosquitonet, A/C and 2 chairs on the terras. Nice view on the garden and really calm place. In the morning and evening we saw black gibbons, with handed gibons, macaques and hornbills passing by. Don't hesitate to book this place

Beautiful environment, clean air outside the busy part of the city. Great owners who took care of us in every way, excellent kitchen and clean and comfortable accommodation. An oasis of peace and good mood. I recommend booking a 3-day jungle trek through them, it was the best experience of the entire stay. We saw a lot of animals in the wild thanks to the excellent guides and they also have a great cook :)

immersed in nature it offers splendid rooms in huts and a central area where you can eat and hang out. The strong point of this place is the staff, really nice and prepared guys who make you feel good right away, it is possible to do tours in the jungle with them, we did the two-day one with our guides Rismanto and Risky who made us feel great, they are really wonderful people. Highly recommended

We had a great time at the Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges. Tia is an amazing host and we felt right at home from the beginning. She was very helpful with organizing transfers and a jungle expedition. The food was great and the Bintang was cold. Thank you for the warm welcome!

Great homestay in Bukit Lawang, very clean, very cosy huge bed and AC! The owner arranged a Jungle tour for us and our guide Jonny did an awesome job! We saw a lot of orang Utans and a lot of other animals, he knew a lot about the animals and the jungle which was great! The food was also really good! Can’t recommend this place enough

the location is incredible - gorgeous walks and opportunities to spot monkeys, lizards, bright butterflies - overlooking the river and jungle and with a private waterfall on the land. the staff were incredible and went out their way to help us, and were there to answer any question. We came with two year old twins who can be a handful and they made us feel extremely welcome, and helped lug and entertain the boys on the trek into the jungle to see the orangutans (we saw 4!)

It's in an excellent location right on the river in the quiet spot of bukit lawang but still only a short walk from where all the action is and if you don't wish to walk there is a taxi service very close by which will get you into town. The rooms are very nice and the food choices are good and there is soft drinks and beers available for those that wish. Also the garden area is very beautiful with a lot of wildflowers and butterflies flying around so it's a pleasure even just to sit on your balcony and enjoy the view

A beautiful tranquil location with gorgeous gardens and a private river to bathe in. All just a 10 min walk from the center. The food is lovely and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The owner spends a lot of his time getting to know the guests and goes out of his way to keep everybody happy and provides a great service -nothing is too much to ask. He also tailors his treks to suit peoples individual needs and is very respectful of the environment. He has great knowledge about the jungle and whats happening in the area.I wish we could have spent more time here.

    Best to train up and be fit for jungle trekking as some climbs can be a bit steep. Also it's very hot and humid. If you wanna take good pictures, don't rely on mobile phones as you'll need to zoom in quite a bit with orang utans perched high up among the trees
