We throughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. The location is great it feels very secluded but you are close to restaurants and shops. The room was spotless clean and well maintained, the pool was perfect to help cool down. Breakfast was delicious and they have plenty of options to choose from. Also they offer a pick up service from the port which was very helpful

La Payana House offers a good location, with easy access to local shops, restaurants, and activities like snorkeling. Yusa, a staff member, truly exceeded expectations by arriving early at 6 AM to prepare breakfast before my snorkeling trip. He also offered to drive me to the diving center and harbor when I left. His kindness truly made me feel welcome, comfortable, and safe throughout my visit.

Wow!!!!! What a place! Such a great energy. The staff are so lovely. It's absurdly beautiful. Like the most lovely European villa with epic gardens and pool. We kept going back and all the other guests staying their were such high quality. Bed, room, bathroom all totally amazing. Quiet. Pristine mountain air but only 5mins from the harbour. The value for money is nuts.

Good jungle views and good location, but hard to access and hard to walk at night because of the dogs. None of these issues were mentioned on Booking. Needs serious improvement. Good price because it was under construction (which they don’t tell). Great Pool (from the other hotel)

We loved the cleanliness, sparkling new, lovely linen, sheets and towels, comfy beds. The pool was great. The staff were lovely, nothing was a problem. We enjoyed the breakfast. We hired scooters from here too, it a one stop shop. Our family had two bungalows, with king beds the teenagers had a bungalow to themselves, right beside us. Very economical.

    Cheap massages, lots of food markets.

    Cheap massages, lots of food markets. Was pretty dirty and busy. Great reef trips and amazing scenery on the east side of the island. Walk to Penida colada for a special meal on the water - sunset with dolphins 💕

    It really is only for arriving by boat so not a good area to...

    It really is only for arriving by boat so not a good area to stay near boat arrivals. You can’t walk past the wharf area easily as they have piled tons of gravel there and it is fenced off. There was one good restaurant a 5-10 minute walk away called Sunny Cafe.
