Made and his family are so happy and friendly. Made has a cheeky and funny sense of humour, he made us lol. Breakfast omelettes were great. We had a satay bbq and helped making dinner, it was enak (delicious) Rooms are new and clean, firm comfortable beds which we liked. Pool was always clean and refreshing Wifi worked well 24hrs Made took us on an all day tour to Sideman, La Montagne Cafe overlooking rice fields and Penglipuran Village, he was very patient and informative. There is no airconditioning but it’s cool and not needed even on the hottest day there. Highly recommended for a restful stop and interaction with local Balinese family.

Everything! We felt so welcomed and comfortable that we stayed 3 days with Komang and his beautiful family. The house, the environment, the food, all the little attentions (like the snack that Nene gave us for our roadtrip to our next destination) were very special. We also had great conversations with Komang, the host, who taught us so much about the Balinese culture. We really hope we'll be able to come back soon!

Wyan, the owner and his family were really lovely, extremely helpful, friendly, generous & inclusive. They even taught me how to make these little prayer baskets, Amazing location and view from the balcony of the top villas. To road to the homestay narrows & the last part is not accessible by car. You need to walk down a winding path that leads through a banana jungle until you finally reach the court yard of Umah Saren. The setting is truely Balinese with an open pavilion, several big carp aquariums, lovely garden feartured. Rice fields, waterfalls, organic vanilla farm & a great Warung in walking distance from the homestay. Umah Saren is one of those few peaceful & non-touristy spots in Bali where you can witness and become part of the local life.

This beautiful place exceeded my expectations and I feel very lucky to have stayed here before it gets too popular. Komang & Jeru are amazing hosts, they welcomed me along with their 5 beautiful little girls and the staff making me feel at home. Always kind, discreet and thoughtful! The location is truly unique, immersed in the heart of the valley between forests and rice fields, this island in the middle of two rivers is the ideal place for those who love nature and tranquility, perfect for relaxing and I suggest staying at least 4/5 days. The bungalow is really cozy and the outdoor bathroom is just amazing ( taking a hot shower while it’s raining is a must!) . They offer several service and tours and the food is great ! you need your own transportation to go around otherwise they can rent you a scooter ! a simple thank you is not enough for these guys ,I will definitely come back soon as I can !❤️

Amazing place! We had the most incredible and relaxing stay. Couldn’t fault it, every small detail was catered for. You can stay in the room & soak up the beautiful view, enjoy dips in the private pool, in-room dining, then wander down to the local village to explore. The room including a full menu and room service, with all the special touches included. They even created a special fully vegan menu that the team put together and we were very impressed. The entire space and the views are absolutely stunning. The hosts and team were fantastic and had lots of local recommendations for us. We wished we could have stayed longer!

The bungalow was new, clean and exactly as shown on the photos on the website. All staff were super friendly and attentive. The restaurant has amazing views over the rice terraces of sidemen. It is a short walk to the main street with various restaurants and warungs. Overall, the Devani resort definitely exceeded our expectations.

We loved everything about it! The bamboo house was an absolute dream , its very new and clean. Amazing views of the rice fields, mountain and its even more magic at night fireflies and symphony of frogs :) Also hardly any mossies ! The host was very friendly, detailed orientated and wanted to make our stay perfect, which it absolutely was ! He is also an amazing cook and prepares all the dishes with a lot thought and care. We can't wait to go back !
