From the moment we walked in we were greeted with friendly, helpful staff. The hotel was amazing, newly refurbished and looked great! Our room was a great size, with everything we needed and more, including coffee machine and fridge. All staff were amazing, food was delicious. Great location. Highly recommend!

The host was exceptional and the interior design was also amazing. We loved the close proximity to the boardwalk and the excellent restaurants. We were super pleased to have found this wonderful BnB and when we go to Dublin again I will definitely stay again! The beds are super comfortable and the ensuite bathroom is all newly renovated. It was a spectacular stay with the best host!!!!!

It’s a seaside town. Out of season it must be quite pretty. It has a long promenade and a pleasant walk around the adjacent headland. On a Sunday afternoon in September it is popular and busy. Think fish-and-chips and ice-cream.

From the Wilton Hotel, we easily walked to Bray up the mountain path to the cross. Then on to Greystones. Bus back and that return bus stop was so close to the hotel. Kilrudderey Estate across the road from hotel, nice morning activity. Powerscourt within driving distance, Kilmancanogue/Avoca also accessible by car. The Train Station was extremely convenient too. A lovely promenade made for a nice evening walk. We ate each evening at the Wilton Hotel, super food and well priced.

Lovely seaside town. Half-hour on pleasant railway from Dublin with sea views from the carriage. Nice walk along the beach and up the headland, good coffee and brunch cafes and nice restaurants. Friendly people, clean and very pleasant. Thoroughly recommend.

We went for long walks along the promenade. The town is also just a short walk away. There is a choice of restaurants, coffee/ tea shops and grocery stores. We loved the farm market on the Saturday, which was just a short drive away. The added bonus was to watch the start and finish of the "To hell and back" endurance race with 100's of participants.

Delightful seaside resort with very nice beaches. Several restaurants with ocean views. Lots of amenities. Just a short 30 min DART to Pearce Station in the heart of Dublin. A short drive to the Wicklow Mountains for a different experience. The drive to Dublin Airport was only 40 min during morning rush hour traffic.

I loved the quirky, modern decor, the beds were the most comfortable I've slept on in a hotel. The bathroom was spacious & modern, the shower had a small and large shower head, very much appreciated. The carpet was sumptuous and I loved the fact that I could open the window for fresh air flow - in so many hotels the windows are sealed shut, meaning the air is stale and the room stuffy. The water tap in the hall, for filling your water bottle, is a thoughtful touch. Great location, very peaceful stay, a wonderful break all in all!!!

Absolutely lovely staff .They could not do enough to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Food and service outstanding. The hotel is a little gem and makes every effort to ensure everyone is entertained in their wide range of evening events. Both in the hotel and out on the bandstand area.Well done, Martello will definitely visit again this summer. We will recommend you to all family and friends. Bray is lucky to have you in the heart off its lovely town.

Due to a hotel double booking I was forced you look further afield and Bray was a lucky find although distance was further than I intended to travel due to meeting friends in maynooth but all travel connections worked out so all ended well. Accommodation was good but slept three and bigger than my needs of a solo traveller hence the price increase.
