We were there from our home in Scotland to view a property on the coast. Even though the trip was very focused, we saw beautiful scenery and had a great dinner. Love Dungloe, We dined at the Waterfront Hotel, just five minutes drive from the cottage. The food was excellent, the only thing we noticed was that the hotel was very understaffed, but 100% of all the staff on duty worked way beyond what should be required of them under normal circumstances. Dungloe is a very easy town to navigate and is very well signposted from the approaching directions and the Town is very well sigh posted to enable uninterrupted navigation, The shore walk and the River walk are excellent.
