This place is truly delightful, easy to access, and golf course view from the room window. It's modern, new, clean, and quiet, providing a perfect environment for rest. We had a wonderful stay before returning to Dublin to end our family trip. Within walking distance to the cozy town center, which has a variety of dining options. A bonus is that this was the only place we stayed in Ireland and Northern Ireland that had air conditioning. Although the summer weather here doesn't usually necessitate AC, it was a pleasant surprise.

Cathy & Paul were excellent hosts. They were vey accommodating with all of our requests. Regarding the accommodation itself, it was one of a kind. A newly built house that was very comfortable, clean, spacious and bright. I would totally recommend staying there.

Beautiful old property in town yet feels rural. Hostess is simply wonderful. Great food, stunning rooms. Garden out back. Bunclody’s on the Wicklow Way so access to hikes and sights and gardens and castles I.e. a superb location.

Easy access and parking. Rooms were clean, large and comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was fantastic and we stayed for a sneaky late tipple at the bar which had plenty of cosy quiet corners to catch up with friends. Lovely all round.

I was hopeful but cautious because I'd read very mixed reviews before we went. But honestly our three nights were absolutely fantastic, the perfect rest. I can't wait to go back. The food was exceptionally well cooked with a good range of choices. The staff (especially in the dining room) could not have been more friendly, professional and personable. It went beyond what I had hoped for and I have bookmarked Mount Wolsley as a perfect getaway and retreat.

    The cleanliness is superb.

The cleanliness is superb. The only downside is we dont have a private toilet/ shower room. Maybe if you travel with group this is okay because you dont mind sharing with your group. We have kids so its kinda difficult when we dont have our private toilet. It was my fault because i didnt read that the toilet facilities are shared

I was looking for peace and quiet and found it.

I was looking for peace and quiet and found it. Long walks into the countryside and except for the occasional peaks in Rosslare traffic, the town is quiet and extremely friendly. Eating was a bit of a challenge as I was not driving so confined to the town itself and many options are only open Thu-Sun (this was in November, it may be better during the summer months). Sugar & Spice do a great breakfast, and Redmonds pub is great.

Lovely village with very friendly locals and very good restaurants. Sunday lunch at local pub was excellent and would have returned Monday but they were closed. Easy to get to various places for shopping and sightseeing albeit I was in the area for work...

It was only an overnight stay. Saturday to Sunday So late arrival on Saturday meant most place had closed. The Riverside Bar and Grill just a stone's throw from the Cody Lodge. with its excellent rooms was open. The Riverside Bar and Grill has excellent food and a menu to suit all tastes. You will feel at home here because it is how the staff and owners will make you feel. Serving some excellent what I call real man food. Recommend the roast beef. Don't worry Michelle will look after you. Michael that be Michael Kehoe the captain of this fine ship. Is a pure gentleman and as down to earth as they come. He will go out of his way to make your stay memorable. Then on top of all that there is live music several nights a week. You just cannot go wrong it has everything you could possibly want. I had to depart Bunclody early on Sunday morning. But if the service and welcome received in The Riverside Bar and Grill is anything to go by. You will be in for a pleasant surprise in what could be one of Irelands best kept secret's.

Bunclody town has a beautiful setting with a stream running through the middle of it surrounded with trees & some seating while one way traffic goes down one side & up the other side of the stream. It is situated at the foot of Mount Leinster which has lovely walks & a scenic view from the top. Great Golf course with beautiful restaurant upstairs in the clubhouse. Pub with very friendly atmosphere & lovely food across from Bunclody Lodge.

Inland rural busy village, lots of life and activity on main street. Shops and facilities walking distance. Friendly locals, River Slany never too far away. Maybe not a tourism heavy hitter, but all the better for that. Beautiful countryside nearby in every direction.

There's a bus from Dublin to +/-500m of the hotel, and a Spar supermarkt nearby. I stayed in the Monkey Puzzle the night before starting to hike the Wicklow Way. Agnes, the owner, is a very kind lady and she even offered me a lift to the starting point which was really helpful. All shared facilities are really really clean and of high quality. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing hosts. A large, clean, comfortable room. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! A lovely town, plenty to do in the area. Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had in Ireland (hotel or B&B). Tasty, healthy, imaginative and well presented. If you are in the area and are looking for a place to stay - just book this one. You will have a great stay!

The BnB was excellent! It exceeded our expectations and our room was nicer than what I would expect in some hotels. Phil was so lovely and couldn't be more accommodating. We had a fantastic stay and we are really looking forward to booking and staying again

3 minutes walk from the small town of Bunclody, where we ate in the Holy Grail. The club house is also available for food and beverage if you feel like a longer but very beautiful walk along side trees and the river Slaney.
