I liked Roscrea and I did not find anything negative.
I liked Roscrea and I did not find anything negative. Rackett Hall was an ideal location and great value to visit Birr Castle and heritage sights in surrounding towns. The food in Rackett hall was excellent and we did not find it necessary to eat elsewhere. There are several golf courses near at hand and Roscrea is a very welcoming club.Guest review byRobertIreland - 10.0
Lovely little town.
Lovely little town. Seemed very bustling in the business area, and St. Cronan's Catholic Church was beautiful! Also did some hiking at Orange Hill. Our only disappointment was the Roscrea Heritage Center, which was closed for renovation, and we had hoped to get help there with ancestor information. Despite being closed, the director and assistant were very friendly and helpful and gave us some great Roscrea history. Enjoyed our visit to Leap Castle, too.Guest review byLynda

We enjoyed an amazing assortment of fresh fruit and cereals before a lovely cooked breakfast. We were delighted to happen across this excellent B&B as the local hotel had no availability. However, we would not hesitate in making this our first choice going forward if we were to stay in the area again. Hosts were really welcoming and went the extra mile for us.
