I was pleasantly surprised by the history of the building! It used to be the Royal hunting lodge, you can even see the castle in the distance from front of the lodge!

Lovely place, cosy, warm, spacious, nicely furnished, situated in quiet, peaceful surroundings. The kitchen was large and well equipped, the beds very comfy - we slept very well and felt at home here. The owners were very friendly.

    Villierstown is a quaint & very peaceful village situated...

    Villierstown is a quaint & very peaceful village situated beside the Blackwater river. There is a gorgeous quay where you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, fishing and boat trips. Very friendly people with a lovely local village pub and shop. It's just a few miles from Lismore, Mount Melleray and the famous V viewing spot, with excellent walks.

    Excellent stay and very relaxing.

    Excellent stay and very relaxing. Collette is a very good host and helpful. I would highly recommend these pods to couples. The pods are comfy, warm and very clean and I am definitely going to stay again! The local pub next door is nice for food, the locals are are friendly. Gina and Sinead are extremely helpful and make you feel welcome and the Guinness is perfect. Local shop across the road from the pods but would recommend driving 15 mins to SuperValu in Cappoquin. Very peaceful location and 20 / 25mins from Admore, Dungarvin and Youghal, also waterford city isn’t to far away either, Excellent experience!

    We ate at the pub next door.

    We ate at the pub next door. The food was fantastic, Gina the owner was a gem who went far and beyond. It was a true community pub and the town was perfectly located for our needs. The little bakery across the street served wonderful scones!

    Such nice people, Absolutely loved my stay for my daughters birthday we really enjoyed it, will definitely be back again, Also the pub next door there food was absolutely beautiful, Would highly recommended 10/10
