I liked the closeness to the city center (just a 25 minute walk) , but also half way to the airport all with one same bus line #16, so it is easy both ways.

I am glad I chose the Carlton Airport Hotel where everything starts with the Receptionist's friendly greeting to the room comfort is perfect. If one more time I have to choose where should I stay in Dublin during the short jorney, I will definately stay in Carlton.
