    Auroville was great, must visit I would say to all who are travelling to pondi. Plesant to connect with my own self. The arichitecture was fab. We usually get only 15 mins at the prime of Auroville(matri mandir), I would definitely want to revisit to experience it once again. Please ensure to book online in advance when visting the matri mandir. Took pottery classes there, hanged around exploring cafes, also enjoyed craft at SVARAM – Musical Instruments and Research. Very calm, plesant and close to nature feel at Auroville.

    A very interesting place to visit, best way to get around is to hire an e-bike or electric scooter, lots of classes, workshops to attend too many to do in the short time was here, a must is to visit the matrimander inner chamber an experience never to forget , the surrounding gardens are so beautiful

    Auroville is simply too commercialized to be considered only...

    Auroville is simply too commercialized to be considered only a religious or spiritual visit. The walk from the Visitors Centre to Matrimandir is designed to make you walk through different shops and eating places. The most spiritual site, the Matrimandir, cannot be visited unless you have made reservations a week in advance. This information is available only after you arrive to the Visitors Centre. The contrast with the Ashram in Pondicherry, which is a very spiritual, peaceful place, is striking. If you are looking for a spiritual experience, avoid Auroville and head for the Pondicherry Ashram instead.

    Auroville is like a breeze of fresh air and slow living.

    Auroville is like a breeze of fresh air and slow living. The entire experience at Matre Mandir , sound healing sessions and amazing food at bread and chocolate. I really miss it all. The only downside is that rickshaws are really expensive there and if you're looking for nightlife then there's nothing to find there really. But, if you are a morning person and have a spiritual inclination or you're an artist who loves to draw inspiration from nature, the this place is a haven of peace and happiness for you.

    What can I say about my forever love on this planet🌍❤ I love Auroville since first second I entered this city. It is city of future consciousness of all humanity. It is fantastic, creative, awesome, not from Earth - city of Sunrise.Matrimandir - the spaceship to the different dimensions. I can say a lot about this super Mother and Sri Aurobindo place - but you have to feel and visit with your energy itself. You will be happy definitely!!! My guarantee is there.Out of words🌍🌺🌸🌼🌹

    We arrived on a Sunday at the Visitors Information Centre.

    We arrived on a Sunday at the Visitors Information Centre. There was a French elderly man who seemed to be very unpleasant with the work he's doing as he kept answering people as if scolding a child and with a very arrogant manner. It's a pitty to see how the sole purpose of such a community land has been invaded and districted by foreigners.
