We had a great time at the house boat. We booked the place for only 2 nights with no plans at all. Ibrahim and Faizan sorted everything for us. We did a guided one day trek at Naranag. They helped us with the appropriate equipment and food for this. On the second day, they also organized a short tour of the mosques in Srinagar and a boat ride on Dal lake, just before our flight out. We also had dinner with the family after the trek, which was a nice experience.

My stay at Houseboat Wild Rose was truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with such kindness that it felt more like staying with family than in a hotel. The houseboat is beautiful, clean, and peaceful, with stunning views of Dal Lake.The homemade food was delicious and full of authentic Kashmiri flavors – every meal felt special. What made the experience most memorable was the warmth and care of the hosts, who made me feel completely at home.This place is more than just accommodation – it is an experience of true Kashmiri hospitality. Houseboat Zaindari Palace is in a very good location quiet part of Dal Lake with a mountain view. The rooms are spacious and the washrooms are super clean. Management is also very helpful. The breakfast and dinner are tasty The staff are friendly, and give honest advice about tour/bus/travel itineraries and costs. I would definitely recommend this place:)
