Beautiful place and not crowded unlike Ooty. Many tea gardens. Visiting in monsoon season (June/July) can be a bit restricting because of rain and fog but it’s still worth it. It was so peaceful and the view out over coonoor was gorgeous. I loved Maya (the dog) who personally made the stay for me. The staff were amazing, very helpful in booking tuk tuks and keeping the rooms very clean. My bed was made every morning and the room was cleaned daily. This has such a homely feel, there is a book shelf with books and games you can help yourself to, as well as a beautiful outside area. The guesthouse is conveniently located, not far from the center but in a quiet place, and good for hikes near Coonoor. My room was simple but nice and had a great view.
