    Nettor back water safari for 1hr is high 3400/- for 4. Need to negotiate further. Mattancherry palace is better with a guide. Katthakali show 600 pp is worth watching with their makeup n dressing. Folklore museum is 200rs pp worth with camera. Synagogue mattcherry misses a good joint. Marine drive is good to go for a 30mins drive for 600rs.& me

    The city has changed and developed and evolved a lot as per our last visit , which was 11-12 years ago. Now you have the old city and the new city, I stayed in the new city part which is completely away from the old city. Of course, the old city has the tourist spots, The ports, the beach , the museums and all the old charm. The new city has nothing for tourists except Wonderla amusement park, which was near to the property I stayed in . overall this city, is still super green, quite safe and the airport area is now very well developed with accommodation options. The railway station is really small and congested. even the metro is there now. Vegetarian options for people like us are difficult. Healthy food options are even more difficult in the I. T part of the city we stayed. non-veg And liquor is very, very easily available.

    You have lots of places to visit, Fort Cochin, Island,...

    You have lots of places to visit, Fort Cochin, Island, Vyppin, Bolgatty.... Visiting Fort Cochin by taking the boat ride is a good experience. There are many Churches you can visit. A good place to have seafood. You can find Auto Rikshas in every nook and corner. So going around is easy. You stay away from this place when its raining..

    Riding boat jetty towards Fort Kochi with such low cost vessel is really enjoying. Metro ride is also pleasant. Moving around Lulu Mall is another excellent experience one must have while at Kochi or Ernakulam. KSRTC service is also good. Auto is bit expensive for budget travellers. Dust free city and people around is helpful.
