MAI House Heritage Hotel exceeded all expectations! The ambiance is truly special - a beautifully restored ancestral home with charming character. Rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to help. I loved their excellent tea selection, which is perfect for enjoying in the peaceful garden setting. The location is ideal - all major Fort Kochi attractions are within easy walking distance. The food was delicious and varied. This place perfectly blends authentic heritage charm with modern comforts. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a memorable stay in Fort Kochi!

A lovely new boutique hotel tucked gently away on a quiet street which connects easily to close-by attractions, while being a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of tourism. On arrival after a daunting 2+ hour delayed ferry, the owners greeted with warmth, concern and genuine kindness, handling luggage an motioning me to take a seat in one of several comfy chairs in the lounge environment of this quaint hotel's all-encompassing/multi-use space. Soon after, a chilled glass of sparkling water arrived, and was much appreciated. And that is Chapter 1 of The Lilly's Stories. :) A fine beginning indeed! From there, several more chapters have been written: 2-Lovely and Cozy Room; 3-Delicious Desserts; 4-Delightful Dinners; 5-The Rooftop Deck; 6-Quiet and Restful; 7-The Elevated Surprise(which you'll have to visit to know!); 8-Serendipitous Encounters; Elvin's Mural Vision...There are so many stories full of heart here. You of course, will add your own chapters. :) Very thankful to follow a hunch and book this wonderful nest in the heart of For Kochi. It is a remarkable Home Away From Home. Gratitude and appreciation to all who make The Lilly's Stories a 'must read' book: Elvin, Rojni, Sandra, Shawn, James, Dhalia, Amal, Martin, and all who make such a place possible on a daily basis. Fort Manor was amazing. The location is great. Close to all the main tourists sites. It is walkable if you so choose. It is also centrally located to all the great restaurants. The bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom was very clean. The water pressure was great and the water was hot. We also experienced no issues with the ac. The hotel is beautifully decorated. The staff are great! Friendly and make you feel comfortable. We needed help with bus schedules and they were kind enough to call the service providers and get all the details for us. We would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!.

We had a wonderful stay ! The property is in a great location - central yet calm and peaceful , the rooms are beautiful, very cozy and comfortable. Shaan is a great host and helped us out with booking day trips and giving us excellent local tips on where to eat and what to see. The breakfast was delicious and varied! Shaan was also very accommodating to our vegan dietary requirements, which was really thoughtful. Highly recommend this place as a base to explore Fort Kochi and the surroundings.

We felt right at home at Fort Kochi Paradise Homestay - it really is a little oasis in the middle of the bustling streets of Fort Kochi. Clyve, Christina and Sanitha took amazing care of us and helped us organise a backwater tour, massage and Kathakali perfomance which was super convenient. The homemade Indian breakfast was the perfect start to a full day of exploring Kochi! The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We would definitely visit again!

    My Fort Kochi experience was more into appreciating and embracing the colonial settlement historical buildings and the mixed cultural impact. It was simply amazing to look and appreciate the architecture of these buildings. Fortunately, Fort Kochi carries a relaxed and calming vibe, being away from the metropolitan Kochi city.

    it was mostly very laid back, completely different from the mainland. Touristy sometimes and in only a few spots but that also is kind of attractive and reassuring. You'll find real coffee for example and more people that speak English. There were not many things to visit but every site was very interesting and informative. A ride with the ferry to the mainland was fun. By accident we found a huge supermarket with interesting food items on the other (mainland) side Getting aroud was very easy, tuk tuks everywhere. But 9 out of 10 drivers try to let you pay 5-10 times the usual price for a ride. We usually agreed upon 3-4 times. We could not visit the small Fort Kochi beach, it was already 31 degrees Celcius at 10.00 am and at noon it was around 36°C

    Enjoyed the sightseeing using a local tuk tuk driver.

    Enjoyed the sightseeing using a local tuk tuk driver. In the space if a few hours he showed us all the important sights with rushing us. Walking around Fort Kochi was not safe as pavements were uneven and cluttered with rubbish and concrete everywhere.

    Great place , friendly, find a good tuk tuk driver, tip well and you might stay out of the carpet and antique shops 😂 . Get the ferry to Vypin island , about 3 pence , ten minute crossing and go to the beaches there on a tuk tuk.

    I love the heritage structures around this area.

    I love the heritage structures around this area. Each lane I went was so unique and beautiful with it's own story . I could just walk all day long and yet I wouldn't get tired. One can walk around without much difficulty. People are extremely friendly and polite. There are scores of places to sit and eat be sea food continental or the local cuisines.

    I liked the cute little streets, the many restaurants and cafes. I liked the fishing that was being done. I liked the ferries that were fun to go on and amazingly cheap. I liked that we could so easily rent bicycles to ride around on. I like the Art show that was on. We went on a couple of bicycle rides, down the coast and up the middle of the island - the main roads were busy but the small narrow roads were lovely to go on. We also biked up north - it was Christmas day so not much on the roads.
