Hubli by itself has nothing to explore. It's a strategic transit hub whether you are travelling by road, rail, or air in North Karnataka. The tourist places to explore around Hubli are Hampi, Sirsi, Gokarna, Karwar, Murudeshwar etc. I spent a week in Sirsi and stopped by in Hubli as my flight out to Mumbai was a further 12 hours from my arrival into Hubli However, if you are a foodie, Hubli is an excellent place to go around. It's a melting pot of cuisines from various parts of Karnataka and Maharashtra. Hubli is nice place. Not much to see. very few destinations. Like you can cove in a day. Rent a taxi all day and you are done. Food is very cheap and best quality I ever found but unfortunately liquor is very expensive since it comes under Karnataka Territory since its excise duty is the second highest leading in India after Uttar Pradesh.Guest review bySaileshkIndia
