I stayed in a beautiful and super clean double room for single use with indoor bathroom.Fan and AC,comfortable mattress and pillow. Free pick up from the train station. The staff is really nice and helpful.They dropped me off at the bus station by check-out for a very fair price. Best accommodation in India. Highly recommended

What a beautiful choice for our accommodation in Jaisalmer. The loving and respectful way they have brought back this magnificent building is to be proud of. Mixing heritage with modern amenities. Everything…. when we arrived at the train Station, the extensive works made the whole area a dusty mess and this extends out into the streets. The approach to the area of Jasmin is the same and we were thinking omg this is going to be tough ( we are well travelled in India ) but … The Jasmin is lovely …the staff waited up until 02:30am for us and showed us straight to beautifully decorated room with the all the lovely lighting set up and the room had been heated perfectly…they didn’t even ask us to check in …..just relax and have a good sleep. In the morning was no different, very relaxed check-in and breakfast was attentive and a perfect choice ( don’t be afraid to go room only and have a la carte breakfast its a good choice and very cheap, our total food bil for three breakfasts and one dinner and one lunch ( for two people ) was £34 The owner is very attentive and proud using family and friends for staff, also recommends a guide for the town heritage walk and he organises desert safari’s ( it’s not usually our thing but we did both and thoroughly enjoyed it. I get the comment someone made re bird droppings upstairs on the terrace but ignore this, it doesn’t spoil anything. If you’re on a budget don’t shy from the basic room, we had that without realising it was his cheapest room and it’s really nice. We looked at the others and all well priced and individual.

The place exceeded my expectations! Since there were no other people in the facility, they upgraded our room for free. The room was super clean, spacious, and felt like home, the whole hotel is clean and covered by a lovely smell. The staff was incredibily nice, they helped us for every need, they even suggested us non touristic restaurants with Great food and fair prices! They organized the taxi from the airport and many auto rides, they were super efficient for every need.

    Sam Sand dunes, Longewala Border, Tanot Ma Mandir & Kuldhara village are great. Jaisalmer fort & Havelis are also good. Gedisar Lake has Laser Light & sound show in the evening but unfortunately it was not working on that day. Shree Jee Excellency has great food. Try local food like Dal-Bati Churma, Ker Sangri, Besan Gatta, Bajra Roti & Lal Maans (for Non-Veg), if available.

    Jaisalmer is well-known and rightly thought to be romantic.

    Jaisalmer is well-known and rightly thought to be romantic. There are lots of tourists-- the entire entrance to the great fort is mobbed by tourists and tourist shops and hustlers. Despite that, the magic of this desert city survives. It is a gem, beautiful beyond imagining. I hope we can return someday. The opportunity for a desert adventure-- jeep through the rocky paths, camel ride, dinner cooked over an open fire, the silence of the desert at night-- was delightful. Our driver, Ukka, was skilled and fun to be with.

    Jaisalmer is a dream city.

    Jaisalmer is a dream city. Full of charm and very friendly locals. Jaisalmer Fort is my favorite spot. The architecture, views from roof top and the food all are incredible. A must visit site in Rajasthan.

    It is not a 5 star hotel, but the owner was extremly friendly and helpful. The location is very good, near the Fort. The view from rooftop terrace is very beautiful. The owner provided all help, what we wanted. If you book 2bedroom apartment, you should know, that the inner room has no window and little bit narrow. But the other room was comfortable and big enough.

    We had an excellent stay at Little Jaisal hotel. The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful, they really care about your comfort. The hotel is very well located, just a few minutes walking from the main attractions in Jaisalmer.
