    Jodhpur is an interesting historic city with a magnificent fort towering over the old blue city. The area around the clocktower has numerous bazaars and places to stay and eat, great for shopping and exploring. Jodhpur offers wonderful local handcrafts and is worth visiting for this alone. The old blue city can be reached by foot from the clocktower area and it is worth wandering through the narrow laneways and alleys to get a sense of history and living in this part of Rajasthan.

    If you like heritage and rajasthan , it's worth one visit. The cab or auto drivers try to take advantage, shopping isn't very economical, and experiences are mechanical, unless you strike a chord with locals and be aware/concious of surroundings

    Jodhpur has the great fort of Mehrangarh which has a lot of interesting and beautiful palaces in its compound and also a museum which was full of historical artifacts. Umaid Bhawan Palace which has been converted into a 5-star heritage hotel and a museum. The museum is very interesting.

    Take your time to explore Don't hurry thru the sites Enjoy the food, the culture, the architecture, the workmanship, the simplicity and the royalty of the region. Yes the old city needs to be cleaned up. People need to develop civic cleanliness Need a lot of garbage disposals planned If done it's a world top notch heritage destination.

    the Mehrangarh fort, the Umaid Palace was worth it. Some restaurants were good. Shopping is great if you have time to look at many stires. The tax drivers take a cut by taking you to their know shopping places - please avoid and do your own research. The One Cafe near the steps and On the Rocks and Pal haveli are good eateries.

    Staying here is awesome experience. Room view and facilities are awesome. Parking and wifi are available with no charges. Room service and staff communication etiquette is really good. I would highly recommend Novotel to feel luxury in Jodhpur.

    The hotel is awesome, with an amazing rooftop from which you can see the fort. I'd say is one of the best rooftops in Jodhpur. Hands down the cleanest hotel I've slept in in India. The staff was very helpful and hosted us though our bus was extremelly late and we got there at 2 am, letting us have a late check up. Also, very good food at thei rooftop restaurant.

    This is by far the best hotel we stayed at during our 3 weeks in India. I arrived sick, and the staff made sure to get meds I needed, special food prepared, and checked up on me for the entire stay. First hotel that didn't make everything about money!
