Loved the ambience and how traditional the place was.The staff were excellent ,my son loved the authentic chettinad food , I will be coming back . Loved the village tour and luckily we got to watch the bull race , which was a surreal experience 😊.

Kavita the receptionist was simply the best of her kind: welcoming, friendly, informative, inquisitive with a heartwarming life story too. The place itself was charming. Large, clean and comfortable room. Breakfast in nearby Chettinadu Mansion was ample and good, as was dinner there too. Kanadukathan is a fabulous and unique place in India with its magnificent Chettinadu mansions. An oasis of calm from normal hectic India.

Excellent property truly retaining the authenticity of Chettinadu. The house was immaculate. The rooms very super big and airy. Food was served at different locations for every meal, giving a unique sense of ambience all the time. The food was excellent as well and had a personal touch by the chef and his team at every meal. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, ready to help at any given time, with warm and welcoming smiles.

Excellent place to stay. Luxury stays in a remote village. It is very close to the highway, so there is no need to travel far to find the location. Veg and Non-Veg are prepared in authentic Chettinad style as per our request. So, we get freshly prepared food which is also safe for kids. As it is so difficult to find even a good hotel there for adults. Strongly suggest ordering food for lunch and breakfast here
