Everyone was nice, especially Georges at the reception. My stay was exceptional, with lots of positives. Mr Majnu the owner, was there every morning to ensure that everything was going on smoothly. The cuisine was one of the best in Cochi. Do try the seafood platter! Also do visit the hotel which is also a museum full of history. Overall i give the hotel a 5/5 ☺️👍

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is easily accessible to the Kochi Metro and railway station, which makes commuting convenient. The breakfast is delicious. Overall, it is a comfortable and pleasant stay.

This was by far the fanciest (but definitely not priciest) accommodation I had in my 3 month stay in India. This place could easily have 4 or 5 star rating. It’s tucked away in a very busy area but it’s very quiet. It was open barely a few weeks ago and looks like a beautiful villa, very tastefully furnished, full of plants and impeccably kept. The rooms are very tasteful with all the amenities a high end hotel can offer. To say it’s good value for money would be an understatement. The same price can get you an average homestay in fort kochi (mine had ants and no back up generator). The area is far from the tourist attractions but definitely feels more genuine and has way better and more plentiful food options around (check out Milano ice cream). I stayed in fort kochi for a couple of days and by far prefer Ernakulam, as it lacks the overpriced and average restaurants that target tourists that are everywhere in fort. I cannot say anything about food offered by the hotel because they didn’t offer it yet when I was there, but they will in a couple of weeks. I’m sure that it will be great though and will make this hotel a real gem.

Just a short walk from the Pardesi Synagogue and the quaint Jew Town Market, this was a surprise find. Beautiful new hotel , with very clean rooms, modern amenities. We were anxious prior to reaching the place , but as soon as you get to the front of the property you realise this is definitely a really nice hotel. you can literally walk to the ginger house restaurant, with an amazing menu and views, but most other attractions are just a short drive away. The rooms: We opted for the premium delux rooms, these were large rooms, with really tall ceilings, wall to wall tile decor, modern touch sensors and touch buttons. Lovely bathroom and toilet ( separate to the bathroom ) Well stocked with bathrobes, towels , sandals. The beds were something else! the entire bed had massage and other features, you could use the recliner function . You could activate the heating. A/C was good and cooled the room down really quick. The wall to wall tiles helps keep the room really cool even when its really hot outside. The team: Nazim and team were really sweet and helpful. They had a problem with their card machine , didnt' stop us from checking in. Got us checked in within minutes as we were really late ( almost midnight ) and told us we can sort the issue out next day. very helpful and made the stay really pleasant.

Dutch Manor provides a delightful accommodation experience in Kochi. The spacious room gave us the sense of having our own apartment, and the well-designed bathroom met international standards, featuring a fantastic shower. The toilet and vanity were also of excellent quality. The room was equipped with efficient air conditioning, and the furniture added to the overall pleasant atmosphere. What stood out the most was the exceptional attentiveness and service from the staff. Each member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, with Kamal being particularly delightful to deal with. Their genuine willingness to make our stay as comfortable as possible made a significant difference. The breakfast served from the kitchen was not only delicious but also reminiscent of home-cooked, authentic meals, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The dining room itself was charming, equipped with excellent facilities. I look forward to returning to Dutch Manor in the future. Many thanks for the wonderful stay!

While pricier than other Kochi hotels, The Postcard Hotel is well worth the investment. This intimate boutique hotel, with only five rooms, boasts spacious and beautifully designed interiors that are both chic and modern. Its location in the heart of Jew Town is ideal for exploring Kochi. Despite being in a tourist area, the commercial nature of the location ensures a tranquil atmosphere from evening until morning, as shops close by 9 PM. The bed is exceptionally comfortable, and the amenities are well-equipped and meet five-star standards. The staff is incredibly hospitable and attentive, with special thanks to Mr. Renjith for ensuring seamless and high-quality dining and overall experiences. The restaurant serves clean and delicious food, and they are happy to customize portions to accommodate individual preferences, allowing guests to sample a wider variety of dishes. I highly recommend The Postcard Hotel to anyone visiting Kochi who is willing to spend a bit more for a truly comfortable and memorable stay.
