as all know it some items we will get cheaper cost, room rent is little higher comparatively as it is under stand able being tourist city it is okay for it, auroville beach, serenity beach, restaurants are good in auroville road, meals, biriyani, chicken and vegetarian food is available.. we can book outing for water sports, mangrove forest boat ride, sea boat ride etc, kids will enjoy it....

I felt at ease and safe to wander around in Pondicherry. The Sunday market was great and its a good place to walk at night. Need to improve the hygiene condition and the cleanliness of the city as well as lightings in the overall city, but definitely a place to visit

Everything significant can be covered in 2 days. Pondy Marina, Rock Beach etc are great. If you want serenity Auroville Beach is the best. Best if you can rent scooter etc for transportation as it is difficult to get uber and auto drivers charge unreasonable amount.

A peaceful and generous place to be there, Simple people, historical background and rich ancient culture and palatable food are the reasons to be there. Not to forget the temples along with other noted attractions like Ishwaran temple, Balaji temple, Vinayaka Temple and Panchmukhi Anjeneya temple to name a few.

I come because of the Ashram so it is a big deal for me and my mum. It is a must see place. So many Restaurants to choose from. Favourite Veggie Indian was Icon Pondy dil se. Really good. Escape Inn for variety and views. Gelato on the promenade is a must. Pondy is easy to get around by Rickshaw and reasonable. There are also plenty of bars. Hook bar with sea views is brilliant. as are drinks and food. Villa Krish is another with great views. Try Asian House also for food and nightlife. There really are a lot of places so do some research. Go to Auroville. Another must if you are in Pondy. Just to see the Matrimandir.

Should visit for relaxing and experiencing the diversified culture because just before the start of the White Town border, it's a simple & normal any other city of Bharat but once you are inside the White Town it's a complete make over with people behavior, civic sense, clothing, food and House build.
