Once a lovely town and getaway from Bombay, Pune has fallen prey to the monstrous and greedy builders and corrupt govt. who leave let unregulated and illegal constructions grow. Years ago, one didn't need to bother about the climate in Pune. Moderate rain, cool winter and bearable summer. Now everything has changed. Still there are a few redeemable spots like an outdoor bar, all day dining in a compound of an old British type bungalow which have managed to keep its head high amongst religious and getaway fundamentalists and bigots.Guest review bySastry
