    Liked the usual quiet stay with plenty of greenery. There are plenty to do in Shantiniketan. However for repeat visitors just relaxing in a pollution free locality amidst the green surroundings is blissful.

    The open market in Sonajhuri hut for varieties of hadeloom/handicraft items, excellent quality of famous Kantha stiched sarees,and other items at very reasonable prices is real attraction.University of Viswa Bharati campus is worth visiting to learn about Paintings by famous artists,music, fineart, literature,, international languages taught, meditation centre, famous poush mela ground etc are real attractions

    I shall request Booking.Com before recommending any property for staying, kindly make physical verification of the property and not to go by the pictures of the property given by the owner's.     We always love the ambience in and around Gurudev's ashram...

    We always love the ambience in and around Gurudev's ashram at Santiniketan. We also love the time spent amongst the artisans at Sonajhuri and the delectable Bengali food at the many homestyle restaurants. The only disappointment was not being able to get near many of the ashram properties as the permits to see them from close quarters has been stopped.

    Shantiniketan is and will always be permanent draw for any...

    Shantiniketan is and will always be permanent draw for any Bengali for the obvious reason. A Bengali usually prefer to come back to Shantiniketan annually or more often because of the cultural reason. And, it is never monotonous. In fact, many Bengalis find themselves a permanent residence by buying a property here and visiting it quite frequently. These days, the options of stay and eatry are increasing by leaps and bounds here making it preferred destination compared to many other draws.

    This resort is very good.. zero disturbance, hassle free check in, and helpful hotel staffs.. It was a pleasant experience to stay in Ram Shyam Village Resort and the room was good. I strongly recommend you to book rooms in that hotel and enjoy your trip thank you...
