We visited a number of places in four days, the most interesting of which were Edakkal Caves and Soochipara falls. Both beautiful places but be warned: Both require some energetic climbing. We also saw Banasura Dam and went through the Bandipur Tiger Resort and Muthanga Wild Life Park as well as the Mudhumalai Elephant camp as well as a couple of other waterfalls and lakes. Saw loots of elephants including full herds and families and hundreds of deer, some even crossing the road just in front of us but, unfortunately, no tigers.Guest review byCarlIndia - 10.0

Such a nice place for nature and scenary. Had a great stay at Pepper Trail for one week. Food at this place was really delicious and authentic taste. There was no additives added in the food. People over there were friendly. Also tried food from one of the famous restaurant Wilton in Sultan Bahtery. Awesome ride through the middle of the forest and saw some wild animals on the way. There was nice tea and coffee plantations at the Resort Pepper Trail. Pefect place for a getway with your partner or family. Its pretty clean town.
Its pretty clean town. Getting around is easy as there are public transport as well as auto rickshaws and jeeps for rent. Travelling from adivaram to kalpetta was rather tedious as roadworks were going on. Hope such problems will get settled soon. I ate from local restaurants which was quite decent .
