We were delighted when we stumbled across Hotel Naren Villa quite by chance. It proved to be one of the highlights of our visit to Udaipur! A new hotel (it's only been open a couple of months), Hotel Naren has a beautiful aesthetic, and the finishes are outstanding! The staff are fabulous! Good humoured, fun, kind, caring, professional & hospitable. The accommodation is superb! Our room was large in size. The beds were super comfy and dressed with beautiful cotton sheets. There was ample hot water when we wanted to shower. The mini fridge in the room was a bonus. What impressed us no end was how impeccably clean it was! The restaurant is well appointed, located on the 4th floor, accessible by lift. The view of City Palace from the restaurant is exceptional. We loved watching the parakeets in the trees whilst eating breakfast. The breakfast host, Geebs, was most entertaining. For breakfast, we enjoyed the Marsala Omelette daily, but there were other options available depending on one's personal preference. The other dishes we enjoyed over dinner were equally delicious! They even prepared one of our favourite dishes which wasn't on the menu! Service is clearly a priority at Hotel Naren Villa and one gets the impression that nothing is too much trouble for the staff.

Lovely, quiet family run hotel in a central location.The room was clean and comfortable with AC, which is essential in hot weather!. It's about a 10 min walk to the city palace and plenty of restaurants are located nearby. It's also worth doing the Ranakpur Jain temple and Kumbhalgarh fort full day tour. They do other tours as well.

We had a wonderful stay at Moustache Luxuria. The staff is extremely attentive and does everything to make your stay as nice as possible. In particular, Pawan was very helpful and arranged many different things for us, like city tours, tickets for shows or taxi drop-off to the airport. The rooftop view on the lake is amazing. Rooms are very comfortable and large. Definitely recommend!

What did I like? Everything! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff, setting the tone for a truly special experience. Excellent place in Udaipur!! It's a historical Haveli very well renovated with incredible ambience! The rooms are nice, comfortable and clean! They have and amazing terrace with views of the entire city and sunset. Everything is very well organized and the staff is very helpful and nice. Suraj was very nice and prompt to help. The breakfast is very good, you can choose between different options, like delicious pancakes, eggs, toasts, and different Indian and flavourful opcions! Good location, near city palace and other main attractions.
