Amazing place. The staff was very warm and welcoming, the room was clean, the bathroom is modern, they have a lounge which is amazing, the breakfast had a big variety of food including freshly baked bread which was delicious. I ate fish with cheesy gratin potatoes in their own restaurant and it was excellent. The place is situated in a very small place and therefore it is very quiet during the night. The price was really affordable.

I want to start with saying that owner of the property is amazing. We called in to check on couple things and he was able to call local staff and checkin on the space Next the space was magical, it felt really homy! Even thou it was just my partner and I who stayed in the space (which was nice); I could see this space being filled with people who interact by laughing and story telling! The man who was taking care of the space helped us with settling in during the evening (showing up on a last minute booking) and gave us really good suggestions for our trip through the north of Iceland! Overall even though we are not knowledgeable of the finishing and hunting, this space was just a perfect one for us to stay and enjoy.

The property was absolutely stunning, and the staff made the accommodations and restaurant feel like a homely roadside inn. The food, from the Icelandic rye bread to the entrees to the local beer and lemoncello, the best prepared dishes we had on our entire ring road trip. When we return to Iceland, Berunes will be on our itinerary.

The staff was friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. After a tough day, it was relaxing to open the window to hear the water lapping and kids playing in the distance.

such a unique, fun stay!! The staff was very attentive and quick to help with any problems we had! Due to the severe weather, we were stuck in that area, and they helped us get another room booked at their hostel that same night. Very happy overall!

Great accomodation! As a family we have been located in separate apartment = half a house ovelooking a harbor. Great view, superb fascilities with laundry and dryer allowing us to refresh a bit offloading our laundry bag. Additional nice touch is great restaurant in the main building which is serving dinner offerring local fish, variety of local and international dishes and choice of pizzas (Italians would cry but it was tasty, I would rather call it an open pie). Breakfast is served in other area, suggesting good standard variety of choices. Kids went for free - nice touch.

Our one-night stop turned into two due to a heavy storm.

Our one-night stop turned into two due to a heavy storm. The hotel handled the situation very amenably. Good food in the hotel and also at the café and village shop in Breiddalsvik itself, which is about 5 km away. Fantastic scenery all round. Motor museum and brewery in the village with the opportunity to go for horse rides directly from the hotel.

We were very appreciative of the hotel staff, especially Alla, who went out of their way to provide us with a meal when the restaurant was closed and we had missed the booking.com message. Real customer service in action.

Although not the most modern, the hotel was charming. The rooms were comfortable and big. We had a two bedroom apartment. The staff was friendly and dinner and breakfast were great. The surrounding is of course beautiful.

Excellent Lodging - Beautiful views. I left an iPad at the property and they were able to have it sent and delivered to my hotel in Reykjavik. Peaceful setting.
