Pretty much everything. The view. The hot tub. The kitchen. Everything was top notch. The location is tranquil and secluded but you are a 15 minute drive away from the airport. A grocery store can be reached in just 5 minutes on foot.

An amazing property located in Gardur on the Reyksjanes peninsula. We booked this place to be somewhere a bit quieter but still not too far from Reykjavik, and it fit the brief perfectly. Only around 10-15 mins drive from Keflavík airport and 1 hour from Reykjavik. Do keep in mind that there’s not really any reasonable public transportation links to the city, so you’d really want to have a car. The area is really beautiful and super peaceful. It’s just a stone’s throw from a lovely path along the shoreline of Flaxaflói bay. There aren’t really amenities in town, but there are plenty in Reyksjanesbær / Keflavík, about 15 mins drive away, as well as a couple of really great restaurants a few minutes away at the lighthouse. The house was clean, modern and very comfortable. Especially loved the shower and bath - having bath salts was a really nice touch! We didn’t personally meet Lukasz, but he was super friendly and responsive and kept us thoroughly informed. We arrived really early in the morning and without much sleep, and because the house was already available, he got it ready for us overnight so we could check-in right away. Absolutely A+ gesture. A really unforgettable stay that I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend.

Perfect location for airport transfer, less than 5 minutes by car. Beautiful hotel and very helpful staff, we checked in very late and we found the reception area open and ready to help. Comfortable bed and facilities. Loved it!

One of the best places to stay near the airport. Very comfortable and clean. Also has a rooftop heated pool which makes it easy to relax. The breakfast was fantastic and the beds are super comfy.

    Gardur is a convenient location close to the airport. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable, The access was easy with no stairs for brining in luggage. I liked the small town and visiting the lighthouses nearby. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again.

    When we arrived we were greeted at reception & check in was really smooth. We had a family room which was huge, perfect for a family of 4! Lovely & warm (almost too warm)! At least we could open windows to allow some fresh air in. We dined in the restaurant at the hotel & the food was lovely. We didnt need to check out untill 12 noon which gave us the chance to wander down to the lighthouse & walk along the beach before heading to the airport for our return flight home.

    The Bay View apartment is a very special place, a big apartment with great style at the sea side. Unforgettable is the sight from the hot tub to the bay, but also the living room and kitchen are simply extraordinary. Gardur is a great base to visit the Reykjanes peninsula and as location nearby the airport. We loved it- and would like to come back!

    We booked the apartments after a week in a Campervan and it couldn’t have been more perfect for a final night in Iceland! The interior is SO stylish and everything is thought of, from the spices in the kitchen to extra toiletries in the bathroom! Watching the snow come down whilst sat in the hot tub was the icing on the cake.

    Good Range of items for breakfast including eggs & bacon ( not the case in other hotels ) The guy at the restaurant was super friendly and helpful , took order over the phone to help us still have dinner despite late arrival - much appreciated!
