First of all the location, placid, truly beachfront! Secondly the amazing bay window sea and beach views. Third the setup of the apartment, clean , modern, new, quality bedding and amenities, homey, cozy. We really appreciated a truly queen size bed at last and not two little singles together plus a very well equipped, modern kitchen. Last but not the least, a great caring owner with two wonderful doggies! (some horses too)

We stayed at several places around Iceland for a similar price, but nothing came close to the experience we had at this guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They personally showed us to our room, which was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. We were amazed at how many extras were included: we received bath robes, we could do our laundry, make tea and waffles, enjoy homemade rhubarb jam straight from their garden, and even wash our car! On top of that, the relaxing sauna and hot tub made it the perfect end to the day of exploring. This place truly felt like a home away from home, and the warmth and generosity of the hosts made a lasting impression. We’ll definitely be recommending it to friends and family – and we hope to return ourselves someday!

absolutely amazing place! so beautiful outdoors and indoors. the most beautiful accommodation I have ever visited (I have travelled a lot). The fresh milk in the fridge was a really nice suprise!

The keys were exactly where the host said they would be, so access to the cottage was a breeze. The location is easy to find, quiet, and private. We loved that there were utensils available and a coffee machine with reusable ceramic cups. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was extremely spacious with towels included. Thank you also for having wash cloths, which is not always the standard in Iceland.

Very nice stay, surrounded by breathtaking nature! The cabin was very clean and had everything you could need. Would come back for couple more nights:)

The guesthouse can be reached with a very short detour from the Ring Road, being located in a lovely small village at a beautiful lake. The personal was very friendly and flexible in regard to our arrival time (flexible check-in option). The breakfast got prepared at the evening before and stored at the fridge for self-service in the morning for a flexible departure which meets everybody‘s needs. Breakfast was allright with a mixed box of bread, fruits, joghurt etc.
