I liked self check-in possibility. Also I've got very quick answer from owner, about check-in instructions, by phone and via booking.com. Price was very good, especially comparing to other Iceland hotels, good breakfast was included as a present. Room spacious, beds comfortable, all clean. There was kettle in the room and some tea and coffee bags, nice. There are KFC and BONUS store nearby. Recommend this hotel!

Property was very comfortable. Hot tub was a nice treat after spending a week traveling around Iceland in a camper van. The place was a perfect size for two couples to share.

The hotel has an own parking garage, but if -by chance it's full- to find parking place on the street nearby is very probable. Breakfast is rich, even more continental, than Icelandian. This place was amazing, very clean, very cozy with heating in the floor which was a huge thing given the fact that it was winter, the staff really friendly and helpful (Ron helped us with a few tips on how to get to see the Northern Lights). Breakfast really filling and with local food, we had coffee and tea available all day long. I would definitely go back anytime and also recommend it to anyone who knows how to appreciate a good spot.

The breakfast was absolutely fabulous, best I've had in a hotel in a very long time. Choices were great, loved that there was some very special local things like herring and cod liver oil available. Nice that they offered some prosecco, too. Delicious coffee. The decor was unique and interesting in a good way. The room was really spacious, the bathroom in particular. The room opened to a small terrace so we could easily go out and watch for Northern lights. The front desk, per our request, called us when they were visible. The person at check-in was SO kind and very helpful. The beds were incredibly comfy and the robes were a nice tough. Really nice toiletry products. Nice duo-head shower with good water pressure. At the spa area in the changing room was the most incredible massage chair! The location by the lake was so nice - felt woodsy and remote, even though we were not far at all from the city. It was a quick drive to Sky Lagoon where we headed in the morning. I would absolutely stay here again.

    Great location if you are looking for accommodation as part of planning to do the Golden Circle. Circa 40-45 minute drive to Thinvellir. Grocery store nearby (sells good quality sushi) however only a few eating out options.

    Ásta was always friendly and helpful in our email exchanges. The flat was downstairs in a semi detached building, which you approached along one side. The key was in a small box outside the entrance. The attractive township of Mosfellsbær ( Moor Mountain Township )is nearby ,with Reykjavík not far away.

    Good location that allows you to quickly access Reykjavik or go on a road trip. A great pub and cafe available at the hotel. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. We also saw northern lights right from our room!
