Outside view and interior is totally different. The room is fantastic with great views. Location is very deep in and road is difficult to drive. Kitchen facilities and bathroom are good.

Beautiful hotel in a picturesque setting with a view of the nearby glacier if the weather is clear. We loved the restaurant in the hotel and our service was excellent. This was the only Fosshotel our group stayed at while in Iceland as they were generally more pricey than our other accommodations, but we thought it was well worth it!

We got the spectacular mountain view room so we could clearly see the glacier outlets. Great location for chasing the northern lights because the surroundings are farms with not much light. The food is nice. We had the signature local langoustine soup and vanilla ice cream for dinner and they were splendid. Rankes among my most favourite dishes in Iceland so far. The room is well equipped and comfortable. Good selection for breakfast.

A very nice place, clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Nice hosts, we didn't know if we would arrive because there were problems with the road due to heavy rains and they offered to refund our money. But we arrived and felt very good, for dinner we had the best lamb. Thank you!
