The staff were super friendly! we arrived a bit a early and they allowed us to check in! The kitchen had everything you needed to cook or prepare a meal. Loved the coffee machine! The room were small and cosy! The washroom and shower were clean and nice hot water! The wifi worked great ! And if you are lucky you'll get the meet the awesome chocolate lab that belongs to the owners! We had a great stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin. The surroundings were breathtaking — peaceful nature all around, with beautiful views that made us feel completely relaxed and recharged. The cabin itself was so comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet escape surrounded by nature. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We reached the hotel quite late but easy checkin with friendly staff. Cosy room with a wide bathroom. We loved the hot bath available in the evening and we had the chance to spot our first Aurora 🤩. The breakfast was great, wide choice of food and very nice setting around the hotel. As well very well located from the North towards Reykjavík and to visit Reykholt areas.

New and spacious cottage with stylish decor (modern tones mixed with antique wood style). Kitchen well equipped with fridge, stovetop, toaster, American coffee machine and full cookware. Bathroom is simple but functional, with hot water limited to about 5 minutes per shower due to the water heater. Location is a bit remote, but peaceful and even great for Northern Lights if you’re lucky. Overall, a good stay we’d recommend.
