Stunning apartment in a beautiful peaceful location. You can really tell that this place was decorated by an artist. It's really magical with asiatic vibes. Her own art is also on the walls which is vibrant and beautiful. The beauty of this place cannot be captured in photos. It by far exceeded our expectations. It's so quite and peaceful. At night you can see thousands of stars and we slept so well in the absolute silence. Elise is truly a fantastic host. She went out of her way time and time again to help us, book us places to eat, donkies, etc. We really do recommend that you take her advice and book a donky for your luggage. We thought we would be ok, being gym buffs, but carrying our big heavy luggage up the steps was pretty intense. So we really recommend you take any of Elise' advice. Alicudi is a beautiful and wild place which can bring you into unexpected situations if you don't listen to the people who know the place. Having said that, if you like hiking, peace and quiet, this place is a dream. We would definitely reccomend going up to the crater. Its breath taking. The breakfast was exceptional. Elise baked honestly the best tarte au pommes we have ever tasted which is saying something because my partner is French. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. We will be back for sure.

Very good chance to forget all the issues and get rid of all the stress.

The hospitality of the owners was wonderful. Friendly and welcoming. They also went out of their way to send on an item that we had left via the ferry to Milazzo. Villa La Rosa is a peaceful base from which to explore beautiful Filicudi.

The property was a lovely eolian style fisherman house. The small kitchen was handy to prepare protein based breakfast although it is strategically in front of cafe/restaurant and the terrace was except to relax. The best part of the stay was Fabrizio, he was very caring and helps us to have the best stay ever!
