Staying in Masseria was a great experience that I hope we can repeat in the near future. It was an absolute pleasure to commune with the nature of Puglia, the animals that graze freely on the grounds and you can see that they are happy, the other friendly guests and, above all, the wonderful hosts. The view from the room overlooking the pool and the stretching fields of trees was breathtaking every day. The pool is always a wonderful amenity, and here, in addition, there was also an indoor, heated pool, which was a nice aspect at the end of the day when the temperature outside dipped. Masseria exceeded my expectations, that's for sure.

We had a very nice stay at Agriturismo Salos. The bungalow was spacious and very comfortable, just perfect for our vacation. Breakfast was very good with enough variety to start the day well. The location is great, only about a 7-minute walk to the beach. The staff were friendly and always helpful, which made us feel welcome. There is also a small market inside the camp, which is very convenient. Overall, a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

We were the first booking of the year and the only people staying at Serra Alimini 1. Our 1 bedroom apartment was more than we had expected. With a garden and dining table inside and out. It was so peaceful. We loved it. The surrounding forests and beach could not be more beautiful. Unfortunately the residence didn’t have either a restaurant or a shop- which was really bad news as we were walking the Camino de Salento and do not have the luxury of a car to head to a supermarket. But Patrizia was a agent for Serra Alimini- responding quickly to all questions- so that we could at least buy food to bring to the apartment, and she went above and beyond bring us fresh croissants for our breakfast. It really was a magical stay

Wow what an amazing hotel ! We loved every minute of our stay. It’s a family run hotel and they were so helpful with suggestions of places to go which were fantastic. We had a wonderful view of the beach and marina and could see the sunrise from the bed!! Breakfast was excellent with everything freshly baked ! It’s only half an hour from Lecce and half an hour from Otranto. They suggested going to a swimming place called The 100 steps which was the most beautiful place where we have ever swam! They have a lovely restaurant in the hotel overlooking the sea and the service there was excellent. We have never experienced such friendly people. We had stayed in a hotel in Polignano where they were only interested in telling us about places that cost money to go to, not at all the case in Hotel Romano. We were so sad to leave . We will definitely be back as it’s in the middle of The Salento Peninsula which has amazing beaches. Our room was perfect and you could not hear any sounds from the other rooms. When they showed us the room they apologised that it was small !! It was not small, it was just perfect with a huge balcony. I can’t praise this hotel enough , just wonderful people and wonderful location.

Absolutely fab hotel, 5 minutes walk from old town so lovely and quiet. Very pleasant and helpful staff and breakfast was really good. Spacious room and bathroom (we chose superior room on ground floor) and travelled early October 2023 when weather was glorious!

    There is nothing in Alimini; it's accommodation only.

    There is nothing in Alimini; it's accommodation only. We had to get taxis all the time into Otranto to eat; or indeed to venture anywhere. It's €20 into Otranto and the same back. Over a 14 day period this turned out to be pricey and hadn't been factored into our budget, we had no choice as there are no daytime facilities for a sandwich etc. Also beware of the mosquitoes, they seem resistant to the sprays.

    This place is unique, wonderful even run by a family, your own cottage give you a feeling of tranquility for relaxation even with the swimming pool creates a unique atmosphere for families. The Frassanito beach is only a 7 minute walk away and you can find the place you want most, also the other beachs are with the car. The location of the Aparthotel is unique everything is very close, it can be used as a base camp for daily trips, good restaurants are also nearby for shopping only 10 minutes by car. Thanks Marco for all your advices as well as the kindness of your Dad and other family members. Puglia is very beautiful place and we will definitely return to your facility, again Marco and family Thank you so much for everything
