Liked everything about the hotel& restaurant: location, staff, cleanliness, service, the view!!! ,the food. Although you have to be a very good driver to get to the top of the hill where the hotel is located, once you get there it is all worth it.

Hotel Villa Elsa Five star facilities and service - would recommend staying here. A tranquil space to escape the bustle of Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio. We stayed in room 103 which overlooks the garden and pool with glimpses of the sea. A great room with waterfall shower, balcony, comfortable bed, quiet air conditioning and soundproofing. We opted to hangout around the lovely, clean & refreshing pool instead of frequenting one of the many beach clubs that line the shore. We really enjoyed being able to hire the hotel bikes to cycle around. We had the set dinner menu at the hotel and ate delicious seafood and meat accompanied by some local wine. The hotel is well cared for and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Although a lot of places closing up for the season, the weather was glorious and our stay in Italy was just what we needed and we found enough to do.

We always stay here while in Massa. The hotel is not modern but we love it for it's history and charm, the beautiful terrace overlooking the sea where you can have your breakfast or a drink in the afternoon. The cleaning is impeccable. The water pressure was a bit weak this time. The personnel always attentive and smiling.
