We loved Arezzo so much we decided to buy a home and retire here! City has it all - train directly into town, flat walkable and pedestrian friendly city with more delicious restaurants than one could ever try in a lifetime. Nice park with a view and amenities adjacent to Duomo and plenty of shopping - this is a city where people live and tourists tend to visit on famous Antique Market weekend so you get a sense of what it's like to actually live in an Italian town - hours of operation for shops and restaurants are Italian vs tourist, people are friendly and it's a safe city without the stress of pick pockets or crowds - most people miss Arezzo; don't be one of them!Guest review by629 - 10.0

Arezzo had enough history and sites to keep us interested. The walkable streets, ruins, and churches were easy to get to. Great Places to visit. We walked along the strangely paved streets to the Basilica of San Francesco. The second church built by the Fransiscans, building work was begun around 1290. Arezzo is an amazing city.
Arezzo is an amazing city. We have been there several times and we plan to visit it again. It has beautiful churches, amazing art works and architecture. There are several good museums. We very much liked the Museum of Medieval and Modern Art. The city atmosphere is very attractive and stylish.Guest review byFogel - 10.0

We tend to stop here on the way to our final destination in Tuscany but realised that we could happily spend longer here. Gorgeous town with lots of little artisan stores and great food and wonderful places to enjoy aperitivo. My only regret was not staying longer to enjoy the monthly Antiques Fair - hundreds of vendors and a fabulous vibe. Thank you Arezzo - you were fabulous!Guest review byJohanna

Staff as always in BB Hotels very friendly with easy check in. Recommendations were reliable. Room was very quiet and clean, very modern and appealing, much better than the BB's in Germany. The bed was so comfortable, it was the best mattress and pillow in 2 weeks of all hotels we slept in in whole Italy.
