The most comfortable beds we met in Sicilly! Newly renovated apartment with 2 bathrooms, nice balcony and parking. Near the center of Avola. It is a good place for trips to Cavagrande del Cassibile, Noto, Siracusa, Fontane Bianche, Scicli, Modica, Ragusa etc. I may recommend. We were satisfied.

Our room was great, very large and bright with a comfortable bed and a good size bathroom. Our host was very friendly and provided a great breakfast and recommended lots of places for us to visit. I'd highly recommend staying at this place. It has convenient street parking and is in a location that is close to lots of main attractions.

The staff was amazing, from the first Hello we got the best service we needed! They were very polite and helpful! We will miss you, But also the dog! We got the big family room, so nice and clean! Very fresh and with new decorations. My daughter got her own bedroom so it was maybe a twin room? Breakfast was very good and fresh, best coffee! The fridge was very cold which I love! Nice and clean bathroom! The shower was a bit small but the water pressure was very good! Everything was so clean, and I love that they cleaned the pool during nighttime! Perfect for early morning swims!

We loved this Bed and Breakfast in Avola. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, clean, and modern. The breakfasts, prepared by the owners, were generous and filled with local products and homemade pastries, giving us plenty of energy to explore the beautiful nearby beaches and towns. The owner's recommendations were spot-on, and he even shared a custom map with a fantastic itinerary he planned for the island of Ortigia. Unfortunately, we only stayed for the weekend. Hopefully, next time we can stay longer.

It was such a pleasure to stay here. This place is simply amazing. From the incredibly friendly welcome where we were greeted by the owner, Valerio, at the busstop who accompanied us to the hotel, plus the constant availability to help with anything we needed, big or small. This level of service is something rarely seen in Europe and beyond, unless you pay a substantially higher price. Valerio, the owner, knows everyone in town and helped us a lot with his local connections and experience as we were also looking at properties for sale. He would go out of his way to help us. The rooms in Le Torrette are very large, very clean, very quiet, super comfortable beds and you are in the best location of the beautiful city of Avola, a hidden gem, compared to the overcrowded Taormina or Ortigia. Here you get the authentic Sicily with a beautiful historical center, fantastic beaches, crystal clear water and a long wide boardwalk for morning and evening walks. Everywhere is very clean, no grafitti, very safe and just filled with super friendly people. The seafood is so fresh and just all the food, coffee, wine, etc, is beyond delicious. The impressive avenue where Le Torette is located is lined with beautiful trees providing shade for hot days, and connects the sea with the historical center, about 5-10min waIk in each direction, so the location is perfect. The bus (with airconditioning and USB chargers at each seat) from Catania airport (just outside the terminal) take you directly to Avola in 1hour and the walk to Le Torrette is 5min. In the building you have rooms and flats in different sizes, some with kitchen, some with terraces but all of them newly renovated, clean, high ceilings and tiled floors. We will definitely be back soon as we feel like we have found our second home. I highly recommend anyone visiting Avola to stay here with Valerio as you will be treated like royalty!

    There isn’t much to see in Avola but the beach is great (golden sand) so it’s a good location for relaxing. Great seafood restaurants and our favourite was Portomatto. This is a special, classy restaurant with very reasonable prices. Great for both seafood and high quality pizza. I also recommend the shop Assennato for great wines and other tasty produce (like nuts, olive oil, Modica chocolate nuts, honey and more).

    Avola itself was a nice place but so much more to discover...

    Avola itself was a nice place but so much more to discover in sicily. Mount etna was amazing and there are some wonderful sicilian cities awaiting discovery. A car is a must to truly appreciate everything

    Avola is lovely, not as touristy as other towns.

    Avola is lovely, not as touristy as other towns. We stayed at a villa a few miles from the city center. If you do not have a car, be prepared to pay at least €20 each way to get to the bus or train station and back. It was worth it for us to avoid driving in the chaotic traffic. We did a boat excursion from Avola (Sicily Boat Tours) and it was wonderful. Would have loved to stay longer and explore more.

    Lovely little town. with separate beach area couple of miles from centre. centre is quite old with lovely layout of old churches and large piazzas. Lots of locals out at night with families. great cafes - just felt very authentic.

    Avola is a good base for visiting the nearby natural reserves and the city of Noto. The city itself has a nice beach and some good restaurants. The city centre is nice to go for the evening - looks better during the night than during the day.

    We've been to Avola multiple times in the last few years.

    We've been to Avola multiple times in the last few years. It's a nice quaint town with friendly people and easy to reach beaches. Has a couple of squares with nice restaurants, beautiful old buildings and ice cream / pastry shops and lovely atmosphere (music, people dancing) in the evening. Unfortunately in the recent visits we found the town a bit ran down and except for the center and a few touristy spots a bit dirty (lots of trash on the street, from construction sites, food leftovers, ...). Hopefully it'll improve now that tourism is back to full capacity.

    This place was great and Valerio was an amazing host! He gave us an upgraded room which was comfortable and spacious. This was a great base to explore Avola and perfect for visiting the surrounding areas - we did a great value wine tasting, walked in a national park and went to several beaches without driving more than 30 mins. Valerio was even kind enough to do our laundry and hang it up while we were out! This place really made our stay feel special, I highly recommend coming here.

    The apartment is very close to Avola beach, Pantanello and other beaches are in 5 mins walk. Tonino has been exceptionally caring and kind, we got complimentary mineral water and umbrella on the very hot Sunday we arrived (shops were closed or further). He offered all kind of help we needed and were available at all time. He’s definitely making sure his guests enjoy their time in Avola. Greatly recommended place to stay at!
