Quaint little village with two good restaurants with 1min. Quiet (church bells in the morning) and picturesque. Good launch point to various locations to visit in Chianti. Parking is nearby, abundant, and free. The host was excellent. He helped us with bringing our bags upstairs from the car, did a full walkthrough of the place and stuck around for an hour in the shop downstairs just to make sure everything was ok. When we needed some assistance with turning on the water heater a couple hours later, he guided us over the phone successfully, but still came back in person just to make sure everything was ok. The morning after the first night, we discovered our car wouldn't start. The parking garage attendant in our previous accommodation in Florence had changed our headlight settings from auto to manual and we didn't realise he had changed the settings and so parked our car leaving the lights on the whole night. So flat battery the next morning. We called our host and though it was a long weekend, and he was out with family, he came by in 20min to help us jump start our car. Kind and helpful the whole three nights we stayed. The house itself was big. One full bathroom and one ensuite toilet. Fully equipped kitchen and ample heating for the whole house.

This place is far beyond all the expectation. It offers rather an experience than a regular stay. From the first till the last moments the guest is a top priority. All the stuff members who we've met were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, especially educated in the topic of wine. We can't wait to book the stay next year. This is my paradise in Tuscany! The villa is amazing, with great rooms, a spacy beautiful yard, pool and beautiful plants. The staff are really kind and they took care about everything. The beds were comfy, we got a terrace with a great view. The food in the restaurant (we had breakfasts and a lunch) was very delicious. We ordered also some wine and cocktails to drink by the pool and enjoyed the sunset. Every detail was well taken care of. My whole family fell in love with this magical place and I hope to return to this villa soon!

    Beautiful village it is like something out of a fairytale.

    Beautiful village it is like something out of a fairytale. We eat in a little wine bar with stunning views over vineyards, Divine Chianti restaurant. Delicious. We went to see the monastery, it is worth a visit. All in all a must visit if you are in the region. We stayed in the hills above the town and the views were stunning.
