The hotel had private beach but difficult to go in the sea If you are not a good swimmer because of all the stones. The old town is quite nice but we found the restaurant miriage bit over rated. Bordighera is a beautiful town, both the old part and the new. It has an interesting history and it’s worth going to the Clarence Bicknell museum. Bordighera is a lively town with an interesting old quarter.
Bordighera is a lively town with an interesting old quarter. The beaches are pebble and shingle but varied and plentiful. I would recommend La Reserve where you can swim of the rocks and eat sea food in the restaurant. Access to the hilltop villages is easy and well worth a detour or two.
