A fantastic location to discover the Chianti valley and Sienna. The hotel is really nicely decorated and relaxing with a fantastic view on the hills & vine fields. The bistrot is really good (book a table in any restaurant of the hotel). Castellina in Chianti and Radda are the closest villages on the Strada del Chianti with nice restaurants.

We had a 12 nights holiday in the hotel and everything was great: from location, viewing, service, to all the nice people from the hotel, chefs - great food, waiters - very friendly and attentive and reception/cleaning - attentive and supportive!!!!! The apartment was clean and spacious with all we needed for our 2 night stay. The location was within close walking distance to the town with many restaurants. Check-in via the hotel nearby, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. You get discount in the amazing restaurant near the hotel and shop as well as free access to the hotel swimming pool that can be a nice option. The breakfast choice was excellent. The restaurant food was great with a wonderful view from the terrace.

This area was our favourite in our travels through Tuscany. Quiet location, beautiful vista, a place where you can really relax and recoup. Accommodation was very comfortable - were able to cook up a little dinner. Great facilities with a pool area, outdoor lounge area, communal laundry. Breakfast was available for extra but we didn't partake however it looked good with pastries, cold meats, etc. Only a few kms from the town of Castallina in Chianti which has some lovely restaurants.

    Castellina is an excellent place to visit. A small but high quality location. Pleasant buildings and a variety of restaurants. All of our shopping needs were satisfied, particularly at the COOP in the main centre.

    The location was perfect!

    The location was perfect! Close to town yet serene and quiet! Beautiful setting with the vineyards. The staff could not be more helpful and welcoming! It was what I picture when I think of an Italian villa and romantic getaway!!!!

    Quiet hill town with lots of amenities.

    Quiet hill town with lots of amenities. Well located to visit other towns if you are willing to drive. Pay VERY close attention to the information sent by the hotel about luggage drop off and pick up. Steep fines for driving into the old town if not done per instructions and timing.

    I made a mistake with my comment about the car park. There is good access and plenty of parking spaces. I muddled up my comments about another location. Castellina is a lovely town with some history and good places to eat.

    We loved the location, amazing scenery and ambience of the property. It is an authentic rural family owned winery originally owned by Host’s grandparents. Excellent personal service is also a standout plus the split level room is very spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended.

    The location was perfect, we needed a spot for one evening and secure parking for our car. It was a lovely apartment and we had access to all the facilities in the hotel. They had restaurants and we could have breakfast at the hotel too. Although it was only for one evening we could still enjoy beautiful Castellina in Chianti.
