We stayed one night. Julia, the hostess, was outstandingly helpful and she spoke very good English. The dinner and breakfast were particularly good. We ate dinner outdoors but in good shade from the evening sun. There is a large swimming pool which has a superb view. Beautiful old hilltop town with lovely restaurants and great views over the lake. We came to this town to relax after a busy time sightseeing, so relaxed by a pool during the day and ate out at night. If you are self catering, there are 3 big supermarkets in the newer part of the town. We walked everywhere as our hotel was with 30 mins of the old town.Guest review byNikki - 6.0

The lake wasn’t fun to swim in as the water level was much lower than usual this year. It was also extremely hot end July. You really need an air conditioned car to get around The best restaurant was a Schiacciata place just as you enter the main gate on the right, called Opio. Fully equiped kitchen (maybe a sharp knife and a bigger pan would be nice to add) with a coffee mashine and a water boiler, AC everywhere, comfortable and spatious bedroom, spotless bathroom. Super nice host, ready to help you out or give advice at every moment. A large parking lot close by and a nice little terrace in front of the appartment.
