Amazing Location! The whole staff was exceptional and really welcoming and kind. The hotel is gorgeous and the garden and plunge pool and bar area is the perfect place to relax after a day of walking around Cortona. We will definitely go back and thanks everyone for making us feel at home.

Chose this hotel outside Cortona for its views and pool and neither disappointed. The grounds and pool are beautifully kept, and plenty of seating/sunbeds with shade if you want it (I do!). Dinner on the terraced outdoor restaurant was also accompanied by a fab sunset over the valley. Room had character, was clean, and with quiet aircon. Breakfast was a veritable feast if you wanted it, and the variety, even for those of us wanting savoury options, was excellent. The location was only a 10-minute drive from Cortona, which had ample parking.

Villa Marsili is a small, cozy boutique hotel where we felt cared for and truly welcome. We had a beautiful, antique-style room equipped with all modern comforts. The breakfasts were exceptional gourmet experiences – everything served was fresh and delicious, and we especially enjoyed the chef’s handmade savory delicacies made from local ingredients. Each evening from 7 to 8 PM, signature cocktails and snacks were offered – greetings to the lovely young man who mixed our drinks! We were able to park our car for free on the street next to the hotel, and a hotel staff member arranged the spot for us. Normally, parking can be difficult during the tourist season, but I believe we would have found a spot a bit further away if necessary, as there are several parking lots around the town and there were spaces available in the evenings. We will miss this hotel and the time we spent in Cortona. We’ve been to Cortona twice before, but this experience and hotel choice surpassed all previous visits. We’ll definitely come back to the same place in the future. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

We stayed here for a week and had a great stay. The hotel is run by very friendly and helpful people. Location is perfect as it is a 5 minute drive from Cortona while the hotel itself sits in complete peace and quiet surrounded by nature and great views. Rooms are spacious and clean. The pool area was great as is it was never too busy with great views on Cortona.

Incredible view from this hotel patio and rooms facing that side of the Tuscan Hills, right next to old town, parking was possible on site with reservation and it cost 15 euros per night. Breakfast was good and it had amazing views from the restaurant.
