I think this place deserves a sold 10! Even though it is located in an old castle, it is renovated inside, everything looks fresh, all supplies are there, huge parking is free and is right near the house, the village where it is located is very cute with rich historical Italian background, lake Garda is 25-30 min away, the location is easy reachable, a lot of wineries in the area, hosts provide you with the list of potential activities, beds were super comfy! Literally did not let us go! Just to complain a bit - they dont have a dishwasher, but this is definitely not a must. I would HIGHLY recommend booking this place if you travel with the car!

We had a truly wonderful stay at JHD Dunant Hotel, and we’d gladly give it 5 stars! Our experience began on a very positive note, thanks to Pamela at the reception. She welcomed us warmly, explained everything in fluent English, and made sure we felt well-informed and comfortable from the moment we arrived. What really stood out was her kind gesture of switching to our native language after learning we were visiting from India. It was such a thoughtful and personal touch that made us feel genuinely cared for. Pamela went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed — from local tips to discovering hidden gems — and her professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and warmth made a lasting impression. She is truly an asset to the hotel! The rest of the staff were equally friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. We also really enjoyed the breakfast — fresh, varied, and well-served in a lovely setting. All in all, we had an excellent experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

The room was small but comfy, great for couples or one person. The breakfast had a lot of variety, and was good. I liked the location, since I like to walk, and it is in a quiet place, close to several landmarks. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful.

Relais Corte Cavalli is a pittoresque hotel in the countryside, surrounded by vineyards & farmland. We really liked the overall atmosphere, the areas available for the guests (pool with sunbeds & bar, the garden areas, the spa). The hotel staff is superb and go above what is expected from them – we needed some special assistance with locating our luggage after the airline had lost them, and for days the ladies at the front desk helped us in solving that issue as they spoke the local language. They didn't need to, but they did. Exceptional service, we really enjoyed our 5 day stay here and will surely book another stay here in the future.

    A nice hotel with its own parking, green territory and clean, comfortable and pleasant rooms. The staff is very friendly. Delicious breakfasts and delicious coffee. In the evening you can have a delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant.
