Hotel is a great place to stay if you are looking for a place to get away from it all. The hotel is located in a beautiful setting and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the food is excellent. The only downside is that the is a bit pricey, but it is worth it for the experience.

I had such a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly nice and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Very good homemade breakfast. The house itself is beautiful and serene, a hidden gem in the forest, a perfect place to relax and unwind. The peaceful atmosphere, combined with the thoughtful hospitality, made this a truly enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for tranquility.

A very special farm in Tuscany. Beautiful animals, nature and just such a wonderful place to visit. It was artichoke season and the hosts so kindly delivered freshly harvested crop, on top of eggs. Our kids spent hours outside with the dogs, cats, ponies, horse, donkey, chooks, ducks, geese, bunnies and even a wild hedgehog! So simple yet unforgettable.

We've spent an amazing couple of days in "La Casa di Gigliola". Since we celebrated our wedding at San Galgano few days later and we had guests arriving ahead of the wedding (with no availability in the Agriturismo where the wedding was hosted), we were looking for apartments to guest multiple people in the nights preceding the wedding. We've checked in first in the apartment situated above together with our frenchie (yes, they are dog friendly and no additional fee was charged for our dog). Several guests checked in the afternoon and night following. We have been personally greeted by Gigliola. Although she does not speak English, nor do we speak Italian, she understands it and during our stay there we found a way to communicate despite the language barrier. She managed to convey a lot about kindness and life. Gigliola offered us some home baked cake "Torta di Mele" upon our arrival, which she baked twice during our stay. Maybe we were really hungry after our trip from Germany, but this warm cake had an amazing scent and was really one of the best cakes we've ever tasted. The apartments were well equiped, with everything required during the stay: from glasses, to plates and cuttlery, coffee filter and coffee machine - there is nothing missing. In the apartment situated above there is also an air conditioning. There are a lot of items in the house, from silver combs to silver jewelry boxes, giving a nice touch and authenticity to the place. One of the core values Gigliola has shared with us, besides her hospitality, is the cleanliness ("la pulizia"). This was felt to the fullest and it is amazing, since she does all the housekeeping by herself. We really appreciated our stay there, including the breathtaking view from the terrace and the beautiful garden. We recommend "La Casa di Gigliola" and we hope that one day we can return to this Tuscan jewel.

We really liked this place, this city, this apartment. The style of the rooms was very pretty, cleaned and comfortable. The price was fantastic and this area is romantic and Tuscany nature is beautiful. There is no airconditioning but you could make a great luft with opened windows so as it wasn't needed. Communication with the host was great and there was waiting a gift for us -> red Italian wein.

    Small ancient hilltop village.

Small ancient hilltop village. It takes 10 minutes to walk the streets. Get stares from the locals at the village center hang out bar/gelato place. Once you say "Buon Giorno", they all smile and return greeting. We stayed in the agritourismo lodge La Via Dell'Oliviera in the village for 3 nights and loved every minute. Easy drive of less than 15 minutes to neighboring villages like Chiuduso.

The host was very friendly and helpfull, she gave us a lot of information about visiting Siena, the room/appartment was very very clean and spacy, good bed and good shower, breakfast was ok with home made products like jam and cakes, maybe a little more variation and i missed fresh fruit and an omelet or egg in the morning, than would be perfect, but it was good! we enjoyed our stay and maybe we will have a stop again in the future ;-) Thank you!

My husband Tony and I were at first surprised that this ''agriturismo" was actually in a town, especially a small hill town as Ciciano turned out to be. But we could not have been happier for having chosen to stay here. The view out across the lush, green hills of southern Tuscany was lovely. The grounds in a small, very old olive grove with its pleasant outdoor eating area decorated with various implements from its early days as a mill and an olive press, only added to the ambiance. Eva, the owner, and Gabriel and all the staff were so friendly and helpful to us. The restaurant of locally sourced meat and produce, and dishes made from a number of Eva and her family's recipes, were always something to look forward to, both in the morning and especially in the evening when the menu changed every day. Our appealingly decorated modern room and bath were also surprises, because the outside of the cluster of old buildings still retains their original appearances. Parking, however, is on the street and there are steps to climb to reach the office area and at least some of the rooms. But it was a wonderful location with easy road access to virtually all the major hill towns in Tuscany.
