Warm personal welcome, pickup on the parking lot and introduction to the apartments. Very nice smell in the building and the apartments. Tasty and beautiful decorations, creative rooms setup. Perfectly working A/C. Cozy terrace with small fountain. Tranquille at night. Generous tasty breakfast with lots of extras. Great stay, great value, definitely wholeheartedly recommend staying here, would not hesitate a second to come a again!!! One of the gems!!!

Everything about this place was great! The hostess was wonderful and so knowledgeable about the amazing history of the place and helped us find a great place for dinner. The breakfast was abundant, the room and bathroom were beautiful, beds were comfy! SO GLAD we stayed here!

A very nice historical town! You can just hang out by the bridge, watch the river and mountains or you can explore the small streets on your own. There are many nice places to have a glass of wine or to buy some local pastries. You may also see that the center is full of locals who like to go out and the atmosphere in Cividale is really friendly!

A beautiful town with a wonderful atmosphere, in an excellent location close to both the sea and the mountains. Free parking near the center, several shops with local food, and a few caffeterias and gelaterias. An ideal place for a vacation.

We stopped here on our way from Postjona, Slovenia back to Venice to catch our flight home. We found Cividale del Friuli charming and very historical. It was an interesting place and we got a lot out of our less then 24 hours there. There are some great restaurants and museums. We went to the Archeological museum and it was very interesting. There are views of mountains around. We had a rental car with Navigation so that helped us get around. If you are there on a Sunday night restaurant options will be limited

A calm delightful town.

A calm delightful town. It deserves to be better known in the area. The atmosphere was very relaxing to walk around. On Mondays most shops are closed. We experienced the lively café culture on Tuesday morning. Loads of cyclists passing through. The monastery is exceptionally interesting. We bought food in the supermarket and cooked for ourselves. Would be happy to visit again.

It has a small-town feel, with a pleasant old-town feel. It is also highly recommended for hikers due to its proximity to the Alps. I can recommend the restaurant Ristorante Pizzeria al Cervo D'Oro - and not just for the traditional Italian food

Cividale is a truly charming little town with wonderful medieval streets,buildings,squares and museums. It's a quiet, historic town and ideal as a base to discover the Friuli region. Udine is just a short ride away, the Slovenian border only a few kms away. If you are a wine enthusiast like myself you have small wine bars around the town serving the delicious local Friulian wines and there are many vineyards just a short drive away. There is a good choice of restaurants serving the local cuisine. Definitely a place to revisit.

The area around Cividale del Friuli (and especially Bosco Romagno) is amazing, and the house fits the scene perfectly. The rooms are great with everything you need, and the balcony has a great view of the valley. The staff is absolutely fantastic, they help with everything, speak good English and cook a mean scrambled egg for you in the morning. Oh, and they have three adorable dogs (and love yours if you bring it). Overall, super experience.

Everything was perfect from the first moment. We booked the hotel for New Year (weekend). Hotel (Mrs. Barbara) helped us with booking for New Year's Eve dinner in a local restaurant. The wellness area is very cozy and relaxing. The staff couldn't be better. The location and the view are incredible. Warm recommendation. Don't think twice - book now!

Germana is a great host. She gave us a lot of information about the history of this place and tips on what we must visit in Italy. The house is wonderful, we feel the spirit of old times in it, everything decorated with respect to the historical things, beautiful and quiet garden. Pleasant hotel in a quiet little square. The beds and bedding were comfortable, and we had a very pleasant night. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was excellent, the service was five stars. The air conditioner is perfect and hyper-quiet.
