Classic Italian beautiful Italian village , quiet and authentic. Place is a working farm , but the previously reported rooster was nowhere to be seen or heard . Fantastic restaurant in walking distance. Room clean and comfortable with beautiful mountain views from the terrace. Host very friendly and keen to help and baked lovely Italian breakfast cakes . Private off road parking in a farm yards .

I had stayed here 8 years ago and wanted to come back. The hotel is owned by brewery Baladin, and was completely renovated by their founder, genius Teo Musso. The rooms are beautiful and each has their own decor. It's right across the street from their first brewery/bar, which is still working. Every Sunday Teo speaks about his journey and does a brewery tour of the new grounds down the street. Highly recommend it! Plus, this area is right next to Barolo, which has some of the best wines in Italy. Another nice town to visit nearby is Alba, which has a 3-star Michelin restaurant (Piazza Duomo) and a bistrot from the same owners, Piola.

It was a beautiful home, with a beautiful view and owners. We booked very last minute and got the most heartfelt welcome. The house was very clean and well prepared for our coming. The husband even had a key to a nearby tower.

    The restaurant of the agriturismo was closed on Wednesday, so we enjoyed dinner at the agriturismo in Ciglie, which was lovely. The food was amazing and the hamlet quite attractive although there is not much there. In Clavesana itself is a good (wholesale) wine shop if you want to buy some cases of the local wines and honey. Villages worth paying a visit to in the area are Borgo Dogliani (cute to stroll around) and Bossolasco for a bit more life.

    Beautiful, tranquil setting, with lovely outdoor pool. Nothing too much trouble for owners. Food amazing, breakfast had so much choice. Fresh , local produce. Relaxing place, friendly staff. Amazing place to stay in the hills. Scenery stunning
