The breakfast was gorgeous, really an amazing spread of fresh and local ingredients, and dried fruits and müesli, and a juicer, and an omelette and crepe chef -4 kinds of butter. Really amazing! Warm reception and friendly staff. The dinners were also great - as parents to 2 kids, we usually go for simple restaurants with kid-pleasing fare - but the dinner menu was truly fabulous, gourmet chef style, amazing choices where everyone could find something delicious and to their tastes, and a wonderful salad and appetizer buffet to accompany the dinner menu. And the kids had nice simpler options as well, and then could go downstairs to the playroom and let us enjoy the rest of our courses. The family room with a special kid bedroom was just what we needed, and the balconies were my favorite - unbelievable views. The pools and saunas were also wonderful - easily accessible even by elevator, great for my parents who were with us - the indoor pool is not huge but was just right for us to play and swim a bit with the kids, and even in October we could swim in the heated pool outdoors. (One is heated, one is not). I loved the gym - always makes vacation feel a little better when I can get a few workouts in. I didn't make it to the yoga hour, will have to save that for next time! Thank you guys for a lovely stay, our first time in South Tyrol and we will definitely be back!!

The resort is always spotless and superbly organized. The staff are very friendly and competent. The grounds and landscaping are gorgeous and the views across the valley are sweeping and beautiful. There is lots of space, so people can spread out and it never feels crowded. The pool and wellness areas are top-notch, and relaxing and inviting. Our room in the new building was very spacious and first-rate. The meals were designed by a chef, perfectly executed, and more than sufficient in amount. The sorbet was amazing! We basically got to eat every meal of the day outside, with a beautiful view, which we really enjoyed. Overall: a beautiful hotel that will leave you wondering whether you would ever again stay at such a wonderful place.

    Very nice and lovely hotel with a good location near the village center, quiet, clean, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, terrace or balcony, deck chairs, sauna and small pool, free parking in underground garage, excellent breakfast with the rich choice. If you want to visit Dorf Tirol, I highly recommend this hotel. It's not just bed and breakfast, it's like visiting good friends, who will host you kindly and lavishly. Service, reception and customer care are at the highest level.

    A decent room with a fine balcony looking at the valey. Marlene, the owner, was very sympathetic and helpful; she speaks German and Italian. Streitlhof is at the outskirts of the village. The way down (to the centre of Dorf Tirolo) is easy and is about 15 minutes, the way up takes 20 minutes and takes some efforts. Gondola station is very near!

    I have tried too many hotels throughout my life, but this is definitely one of the best. The rooms are super clean and spacious, the location of the hotel is nice as well its 5 minutes away from a decent city center. The variety of the Breakfast was a a huge plus. The staff took our stay to a whole new level. It was just the perfect vacation.
