Location was great as it was not too far from the train station - just a mere 5 minutes walk. As we only stayed there for less than 20 hours, I can't comment only anything more other than it was sufficient to get a good night rest and freshen up the morning. Nothing fancy.

Good location, good breakfast, free parking , friendly and polite staff, room clean , privacy and safe place , good service, comfortable, I will come again and again , I recommend it for family kids will enjoy to see Zebra, Horse, Dog and Cat. i stayed 3 times and I glad to stay again.

Family from Cologne, 2 adults, 2 children (16, 19): We spent the last 2 weeks of July 2025 in the amazing Aquavista Residence and would like to thank our wonderful host Elena once again for the excellent, warm-hearted and professional care, always friendly and prompt communication and valuable support. The location in the southern part of the Lago Maggiore allows exploring both the western and eastern banks and a visit to Milan is perfect as a day trip. The Borromean Islands which can be visited starting from Stresa were a really beautiful experience. The Aquavista Residence is very elegant, pleasant and well maintained facility, located right on the water, and the pool is lovely, the garden is large and fenced. You can easily register to use the grill ;) Please just consider that you will need a car for nearly everything, e.g. to go shopping or for going out to have some lovely dinner for instance in Arona, Lesa, Stresa etc. There is no continuous promenade on the beach through Dormeletto towards Arona and no pedestrian path on the street through the village, but you can easily park your car at the entrance of Arona and enjoy the beaches there. Oh, and the air conditioning really works;) Elena recommended the excellent Esselunga supermarket (for grocery shopping - directly opposite the complex). Elena is really helpful at all times and she also gives wonderful recommendations also regarding leisure activities. She recommended a wonderful restaurant where you can get the most fantastic Zabaione, as part of a truly phenomenal menu, friendly and accommodatingly presented and served in a spectacular location right on the lake with an unforgettable lake view (Battopalo, Lesa, thank you again for this suggestion). Many thanks! We really enjoyed our time in the Aquavista Residence;)

    A small place by the lake, but the shore is more or less...

    A small place by the lake, but the shore is more or less private, so you are limited to the part of the shore that is in the camp, The place has many shops, which are more or less empty or already run down, also there is only one restaurant , which is open all day, but there is a lot of traffic. Also, there is a lot of garbage on the street. In general, you get the feeling that they had big plans for tourism, but they did not succeed.

    It was one night stop on the route, but the quality of hotel was not as expected, specially having in mind the price. Stuff was very professional and welcoming. The restaurant in lobby serves very nice food in a very nice atmosphere.

    It was near the town of Dormelletto but also not too far from Arona ,which Is a bigger town. Camping Rose is a beautiful & peaceful campsite. We hired bikes at camping rose to get into both towns.
