Clean and modern rooms, friendly staff, nice restaurant (450Gradi). The hotel is at a busy main road, but even the rooms directly facing it are quiet in my experience. Altough the town of Massafra is not directly at the sea, there are some very nice beaches nearby at an approximately ~15-30 minute drive from the hotel.

We were a big family party and took four rooms during the week, each one spacious, equipped and comfortable. Hosts Patrizia and Vincenzo were attentive and ensured we had everything we needed making our stay in and around Massafra very enjoyable indeed.

Exceptional staff, location, food and drink. Beautiful winery on top of a hill with views over the vines and down to the sea. It has a gorgeous infinity pool and high class restaurant. We enjoyed walking through the vineyard and afterwards we booked a wine tasting which was good value and delicious. Our favorite place on a 10 day holiday and we would love to come back. Our room was spotless, spacious and had a lovely view over the courtyard. I would give it 12/10 if I could .

    The courtesy, availability and hospitality, the completely new and comfortable structure with large outdoor space and car parking on the property, the rich breakfast with unexpected homage from the host, the location with the park of maritime pines, the short walk in the pine forest to arrive to the beach and the very welcome outdoor shower, privacy and tranquility make it a small serene island.

    Town and beach are a little bit dirty but not nearly as bad...

    Town and beach are a little bit dirty but not nearly as bad as some reviews make out. There are no shops in the town, just the pizzeria/bar and a bar at Lido Azzuro 25 mins walk away. Bus from Lido Azzuro to Taranto is OK, but the bus to Massafra from opposite the property is much rarer and I saw locals waiting for several hours. One taxi company runs to/from Taranto - can be difficult and take time - cost is about €25. So, driving is a very good idea. The whole area is only really frequented by Italian tourists - so make sure you bring your Italian phrasebook. The pizzeria at the campground is very local and authentic - quite a unique experience! Wonderful local people.

    Very quiet place. Beach which isn´t full of people.

    Very quiet place. Beach which isn´t full of people. Sea very warm. There is not many restaurants and so on. IMPORTANT: Beach is not equipped at all! You need to bring your own umbrella or you will burn. We were saved by our host which gave her umbrella to us. It good to have enough of water, we have not met any shop.
